Week of April 20, 2008 - April 26, 2008

Aim For The Pant-Suit

I woke up this morning feeling disgruntled and out of sorts.

I went to work anyway.

When I got there, I checked Real Clear Politics and just got more disgruntled.  Everybody there was talking about Hillary's win and Obama's chances of "losing".  As if.

I then started working.

At lunchtime, I checked TPM and found the same Hillary talking points that I find here every day.  I quickly departed and jumped over to the Huffington Post.

Wow.  What a lot of Hillary angst.

I said:  Awesome.

Yahoo and the New York Times and every other bit of media I caught throughout the afternoon seemed touched by the same Hillary Fatigue and angst that I was already suffering from.

I said:  Even more awesome.

I got home from work and put MSNBC on.  I saw everyone talking about Hillary's win, but I saw that they are also arguing that it means nothing.

I said:  WAY awesome.

Now all I have to do is get the remaining uncommitted Super Delegates to live one day of my life, and Obama's got this thing in the bag.

Are You All Watching Hillary on Keith?

For once, I'm speechless, so please comment if you're watching it too.

If Obama Has an I-Pod

Does he listen to the Rolling Stones and think of....

Childhood living is easy to do
The things you wanted I bought them for you
Graceless lady you know who I am
You know I can't let you slide through my hands

Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away

I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you decided to show me the same
No sweeping exits or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind

Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away

I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom but I don't have much time
Faith has been broken, tears must be cried
Let's do some living after we die

Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day

Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some

Let Me Take You Down

'Cause I'm going to

Strawberry fields.

Nothing is real.

And nothing to get hung about.

Strawberry fields forever.

Living is easy with eyes closed......

It's the Fight

It's no longer the Dems against the Republicans.

It's the fight.

It's the fight of we, the people, to vote for the best candidate who best represents us.

Period.

So...What Have I Missed?

I spent the day on Long Island, away from the computer.

Did anything interesting and earth-shattering happen today while I was gone?
