NASCAR McShame
I have an idea here, and I need help from you regulars. Is there anybody out there with access to what it takes to pull it off. I sent this idea to the TPM people, but got no response. I say we collectively attempt to recruit some talented young people do do a cartoon figure of a grinning old guy, McShame, in a NASCAR racing suit. He's carrying his helmet. He's covered with the stickers of his sponsors the NRA and other lobbying organizations and PACS (just as NASCAR drivers are covered with logos for Coke, Havoline motor oil and so on). His helmet is covered with the logos of sponsors also. If you click on one of the logos, a screen pops up saying what public law this political "sponsor" helped buy in the past and how much it has given McShame this time out. McShame walks to his racer, a broken down GOP jalopy with flat tires. It too is covered with logos, one of them a snickering face of President Codpiece. Somebody needs to do this. The repugs hate to be mocked and laughed at. Post this on youtube and here on TPM and other liberal web sites and it should be a national giggle. I'm an writer living out of the country. I offer this idea in hopes there is someone out there who will pick up on it and get rolling. It's doable.
