How can some one be arrested like that enjoying Mother Nature??!! I will continue my efforts to show that by legalizing marijuana that not only will society benefit generally speaking (medically and more thought being placed on the under appreciated topic of deep space phenomenom) it would generate enough money to pay for single payer health care for all...and of course to get high!!!

With so much of the money which funds attacks on America coming from the illicit drug trade, and no possible way to stop people from taking drugs, the best way to solve the problem is to scrap the war on drugs and try something else...make it all legal, with the requisite common sense restraints on its use and availability, and cut out the heart of the problem which is the profits. Not that I expect common sense to prevail any time soon though...

I said it on another thread but wanted to say it here too. AND...I want to give you that present, so did you figure out anything we can fight about yet? :-P

What MCB seems to miss is that the NFL is a commercial venture, very dependant on people to buy its product, so if you offend the consumers you'll lose customers and money.

Don't get me started on the DLC, SJ, they might be more insidious than the political right. At least the political right is up front with who they are and who they support. The DLC tries to say they are selling us out to improve our collective lots. They are a big reason why I am not a registered Democrat.

But your bottom line is balls on accurate...the oligarchs (aka "The Pigs") are playing both ends off each other so we fight each other and don't unite and come after them. I say corporate fascism has been in place as a governing model as far back as when Eisenhower warned us to be wary of the M-I complex. Actually it has been in place since the Gilded Era and the Robber Barons.
