Vanquish Karl Rove to the same place that Sarah Palin is vanquished to. Nowheresville. They're both toast.

There were two early voting locations in my town in Palm Beach County, both libraries -- one located in the western end, the other downtown. We chose to go to the downtown location at 10:00AM on Sunday with this reasoning: Everyone in that neighborhood, which is predominantly black, would be in church, and the line probably wouldn't be too long. Well, we couldn't have anticipated what happened. From about three blocks away, an entire church congregation -- about 250 people -- marched enmasse to the polling place! It was quite a sight. Add those folks to the ones that were already in line and it turned out to be a long line after all. But it was a fun line to be in, and everyone had a great time, so the two hours passed rather quickly.

Additionally, Obama volunteers were hanging around doing whatever they could to make things more comfortable for everyone. They had loaner umbrellas in case of rain (it did drizzle every now and then), a cooler with free bottled water, even some fold-out chairs for those who needed a break from standing. (This is the famous Ground Game everyone is always talking about.)

So we voted early and can just hang around today and watch history being made!
