Excerpt:
The governor got a more serious interrogation moments later when
Temple graduate student Michael Rovito approached her to inquire about
Pakistan.
"How about the Pakistan situation?," asked Rovito, who said he was not a Palin supporter. "What's your thoughts about that?"
"In Pakistan?," she asked, looking surprised.
"What's going on over there, like Waziristan?"
"It's working with [Pakistani president] Zardari to make sure that
we're all working together to stop the guys from coming in over the
border," she told him. "And we'll go from there."
Rovito wasn't finished. "Waziristan is blowing up!," he said.
"Yeah it is," Palin said, "and the economy there is blowing up too."
"So we do cross border, like from Afghanistan to Pakistan you think?," Rovito asked.
"If that's what we have to do stop the terrorists from coming any
further in, absolutely, we should," Palin responded, before moving on
to greet other voters.

America: If you are looking for a leader with sound judgment, that does not panic, and try to crawl into a hole, at the first hint of trouble, then Barack Obama must be your next President.
Senator Obama did not give into the craven cut-and run antics of John McCain.
Senator Obama had the wisdom and backbone to insist on having your rights as voters upheld, and that you needed to hear and see both candidates in last night's debate.
John McCain tried to deprive you of that precious right. Senator Obama held steadfast and true to the nations democratic principles, for Ye The People, and he forced John McCain to live up to his solemn commitment to appear before you for your judgment.
Do the right thing America. You owe it to the nation. You know which one behaved like a real leader, and which one behaved like an erratic calf, which is what a maverick really is.
Senator McCain keeps bragging about how he has always behaved like an erratic calf, and that you can never tell how he is going to zigzag from one day to the next.
Is that what you want in a President. Don't you want a President that has some sense of direction, and one, that you can feel sure, will not always turn on a dime, and do the exact opposite to what he promised you he was going to do just the day before.
John McCain did indeed behave like an erratic maverick this week. As the nation was heading to Old Miss for the debate, Maverick McCain ran off into the brush, and was refusing to be herded out.
Senator Obama, saddled up, threw a rope around that erractic Maverick, and dragged him down to the debate corral.
If you take a close look at that maverick's hind quarters, you will now see that it has been branded. Take a good look at that brand. It is The Bar O brand.

I watched the entire debate, without any distractions.
Here is my overriding take on it.
John McCain was on a mission to expose Obama as being too naive and untested, to trust with national security.
He went constantly to his notes, and kept on that same line of attack. Obama came across as being well versed in all aspects of foreign relations, and global hot spots. McCain sensed that, so as the debate progressed, McCain kept on trying to tell the audience what they should think about Obama. McCain stopped debating. He just kept on hammering home about all his past years of experience.
In a nutshell:
McCain was like an old heavyweight boxer who knew that he needed a knockout, and as the fight went into the later rounds he started to swing more and more wildly, and not landing any punches, he ended up also not scoring many points.
McCain failed to show that Obama was not qualified in the foreign policy and defense areas, and therefore it looks like Obama fought him to a draw, which made McCain the loser.
McCain's biggest area of expertise was tonight's debate topic. From here on out, he is going to have to defend his long horrible record of domestic policies, which have always favored billionaires over working class Americans.
We are in great shape. Now on to Sarah from The Tundra, who apparently can not tell the difference between a Caribou's arse, and and ice fishing hole. Never eat what she catches folks. You have been warned.

http://wegoted.com/Breaking News from Big Eddie: McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless" Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people
are more than concerned about Palin.
The
campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are
being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as
saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this
first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People
on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

While I can not see Russia from my home, I however have.............
You know the rest of it.
Knock it out of the park Senator.
Do not forget to smile. People like a sunny disposition, and please stop putting your hands in your pockets, like you do at times, even when walking through plants. That is terrible body language.
Good luck Sir.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/26/business/26bailout.html?hp=&pagewanted=printExcerpt:
But once the doors closed, the smooth-talking House Republican leader, John A. Boehner
of Ohio, surprised many in the room by declaring that his caucus could
not support the plan to allow the government to buy distressed mortgage
assets from ailing financial companies.
Mr. Boehner pressed an alternative that involved a smaller role for
the government, and Mr. McCain, whose support of the deal is critical
if fellow Republicans are to sign on, declined to take a stand.
The talks broke up in angry recriminations, according to accounts
provided by a participant and others who were briefed on the session,
and were followed by dueling news conferences and interviews rife with
partisan finger-pointing.
Friday morning, on CBS’s “The Early Show,” Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the lead Democratic negotiator, said the bailout had been derailed by internal Republican politics.
“I didn’t know I was going to be the referee for an internal G.O.P.
ideological civil war,” Mr. Frank said, according to The A.P.Thursday,
in the Roosevelt Room after the session, the Treasury secretary, Henry M. Paulson Jr., literally bent down on one knee as he pleaded with Nancy Pelosi,
the House Speaker, not to “blow it up” by withdrawing her party’s
support for the package over what Ms. Pelosi derided as a Republican
betrayal.
September 26, 2008, 3:32PM
"It just proves his campaign is governed by tactics and not ideology.
In the end, he blinked and Obama did not. The 'steady hand in a storm'
argument looks now to more favor Obama, not McCain... My guess is that
plasma units are rushing to the McCain campaign as we speak to replace
the blood flowing there from the fights among the staff."

Huffington Post.

And they are going to, so Senator Barack Obama got it right, once again, and John McCain got it wrong, once more, as he usually has.
Now where is that Silly Sad person, who was on here yesterday, extolling the genius of John McCain.
Did I just read a formal announcement from Silly Sad about plans to cower out the next few days in silence.
It is all right little Silly Sad. We understand. Reality does bite and can scare even the most incorrigible maverick, and those that apply lipstick on them.

What is the difference between Sarah Palin, and Spiro Agnew?
Answer: Lipstick.

The 41 gifts Palin accepted during her 20 months as governor include
honorific tributes, expensive artwork and free travel for a family
member. They also include more than $2,500 in personal items from
Calista, a large Alaska native corporation with a variety of pending
state regulatory and budgetary issues, and a gold-nugget pin valued at
$1,200 from the city of Nome, which lobbies on municipal, local and
capital budget matters, documents show.

Sarah Palin is just as corrupt, and on the take, as those she claimed that she rebelled against.
She started taking gifts/bribes from the moment she was sworn in as governor.
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you Spiro Agnew, wearing lipstick. YUP! YUP!

The McCain campaign have spent several weeks trying to distance their candidate from toxic Bush.
They kept Bush away from their convention, and did not even allow his name to be mentioned from the podium by any convention speakers. McCain never mentioned him.
So what does McCain do, at the moment when Bush is at his all time lowest approval ratings, and when the vast majority of voters blame him for the dire state of the nation.
Why Pee-wee McCain thinks this is just the right time to create the mother of all photo-ops of him back beside Bush. What could go wrong!
Did you see that video and pictures from yesterday's McCain arrange White House photo-op.
Bush was right there, the guy that the republicans have been trying to pretend does not exist, and there sat McCain, with a big grin on his face, for having arranged to put himself right next to the guy that his party has been trying to run away from.
And yet, some people claim that John McCain has the wisdom and judgment to be Commander in Chief.
Get real. The guy just Photo-Opt himself in the foot, and forced his own congressional members to rebel against the Bush/McCain alliance, in order to tell the country that they are not aligned with the most despised leader of their party, like McCain is.
McCain reattached himself, like a sucker fish, to they dying carcass smelly carcass of George W. Bush, and created the conditions that forced the Republican congress to run away from him and Bush, in order to rescue their own re-election prospects.
Palin may be an unprepared imbecile, but the guy that picked her is worse than that. He is a fully prepared imbecile.

Should there be no bailout settlement by tomorrow afternoon; Obama flies to the debate, and flies back to Washington after it has ended.
McCain stays in Washington, as he claims he will.
The Congressional Democrats should decide, right before the debate starts, to suspend negotiations until Saturday morning.
Now you have Obama showing up for the debate, and getting his Town Hall coverage on PBS and the Networks news cycles, while McCain gets nothing done in Washington, and also taking the blame for sabotaging the debate cycle.
It puts McCain in the trick bag for having sat around in Washington, getting nothing accomplished, instead of showing up for the debate, which he had negotiated for, and signed off on.
I think that would make a wonderful story to talk about on the Sunday morning TV shows.
September 25, 2008, 2:04PM
You will have plenty of time to hop on one of your Sugar Mommy's jets, and get to the debate and back to Washington before Saturday morning.
You are not going to a accomplish a damn thing over Friday night in Washington, that can not be accomplished by the congressional leadership, and the markets will still be closed both Saturday and Sunday!
So, Senator Grandstanding, Empty Gesturing, Political Windsock, get your Irrational, all over the map, on every issue, Ass down to Mississippi, and keep your part of the debate agreement that you negotiated, and signed off on.
By the way; a Maverick is a stupid calf, that keeps wandering off into the brush, and having to be rescued. That sure sounds like you.
Now get your posturing old arse down to the debate.

join him in suspending their election campaigns, for as long
as our national treasure, David Blaine, stays hanging upside down.

McCain states that an inverted David Blaine should not be the subject

Mr. Blaine back on his feet as quickly as possible.

It would appear that I have discovered why Sybil McCain needs all those houses and cars; It is to accommodate all his Sybil like personalities.
If you don't like McCain current personality , just give it a day, and another one or twenty will emerge, that might be more to your liking.
Why does he need a VP. He could just pick one of his many other personalities to run as his running mate.

May this nation be safe from Witchcraft. Yup! Yup!
That is a traditional Alaskan prayer from the frozen tundra of Kenya.
September 25, 2008, 9:42AM
Make McCain sweat. There is no need for Sarah Palin to be in Washington, unless she is bringing her Kenyan Preacher to protect the Treasury from Witchcraft.
Force McCain to either show up. or have the VP debate instead. Do it now. that way all four debates can still be held on schedule, you are just swapping the VP date, and putting it first. This is the best time for it, since Sarah Palin is not even up to taking reporters questions.
Squeeze McCain now. Do it Senator.

On a visit to the church in June 2008, Palin spoke fondly of the
Kenyan pastor and told a group of young missionaries that Muthee's
prayers had helped her to become governor.
"Pastor Muthee was here and he was praying over me, and you know how
he speaks and he's so bold," she said. "And he was praying 'Lord make a
way, Lord make a way' ... He said, 'Lord make a way and let her do this
next step.' And that's exactly what happened."

John McCain is just one of 100 Senators. He is not The President, The Senate Majority Leader, or The Speaker of The House. He holds no national leadership position.
How dare John McCain unilaterally try to subvert our national election process, which was not diverted, even when we were fighting both The German Empire, and The Japanese Empire at the same time.
McCain is talking the nation into a depression, by claiming that the sky is falling, and his VP partner is doing the same thing by warning of a looming Great Depression.
McCain/Palin are fomenting consumer panic, which will cause them to stop spending, and cause a economic collapse.
The Media must not allow McCain/Palin to keep shouting fire in our crowded theater.
Nothing has changed from this time last week, so why are we supposed to suspend our election process, and not get to see the two candidates engage in a debate.
McCain shows, once again, that he is a knee jerk irrational person, and therefore lacks the temperament and judgment to be President.

No one has said that the Paulson plan will solve the problem. No one, not even Paulson.
All he said yesterday was: give me the 700 billion, and then I will hire a bunch of no bid consultants, to figure out who I should give it too.
Paulson admitted yesterday, that he has not figured out who should give the money too, and how much he should give to each of them.
Given that, then how the hell can he claim that he will need 700 billion, when he does not even know what he is going purchase and how much to pay.
It is more Bush bullshit. Time for the nation to get off of that diet.
September 22, 2008, 11:23AM
Paulson has brought in a number of his Goldman Sachs cronies to control The Treasury Dept.
The foxes are minding the chicken coop.
Call your elected Senators, and Congress Reps. and demand that they not allow The Paulson gang, that caused the Wall St. mess, to be allowed to steal our revenues now.
http://www.mcclatchydc.com/227/v-print/story/52856.html
Excerpts;
Paulson presided over one of the most profitable runs on Wall Street as
chairman and chief executive officer of investment banking titan
Goldman Sachs & Co. from 1999 until President Bush nominated him on
May 30, 2006 to take over the Treasury Department.
"Hank is the right guy," New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who made
his millions providing information to Wall Street traders, told NBC's
Meet the Press. "If I had to have one person at the helm today I would
pick Hank Paulson."
But the conflicts are also visible.
Paulson has surrounded himself with former Goldman executives as he
tries to navigate the domino-like collapse of several parts of the
global financial market. And others have gone off to lead companies
that could be among those that receive a bailout.
In late
July, Paulson tapped Ken Wilson, one of Goldman's most senior
executives, to join him as an adviser on what to about problems in the
U.S. and global banking sector.
Paulson's former
assistant secretary, Robert Steel, left in July to become head of
Wachovia, the Charlotte-based bank that has hundreds of millions of
troubled mortgage loans on its books.
The administration's draft law also would preclude court review of
steps Paulson might take, something Joshua Rosner, managing director of
economic researcher Graham Fisher & Co. in New York, said could be
used to mask previous illegal activity.
"The Treasury's
ability to, without oversight, determine (that) a financial institution
(is) an agent of the government seems like it could be used to serve
several purposes, including limiting the potential liabilities of an
institution or its executives," he wrote in a note to investors late
Sunday.
September 21, 2008, 7:43PM
Paulson
has been completely wrong about every other prediction that he has
made about what was going to happen, so why should he be trusted
this time. Isn't his “meltdown” disaster, unless we engage in a
preemptive strike, just the Bush clowns” Treasury Dept. version of
the looming Iraq mushroom cloud.
Paulson
came to the Treasury from Wall St. Why would you let a Wall St.
Vampire persuade you to let all his fellow Wall St. Vampires drain
the lifeblood out of all our future domestic programs.
Would
you rather let national health care, national infrastructure, and
children's education die, so that Wall St Vampires might live. I
would not. Make no mistake about it; that is what is at stake here.
If Vampire Paulson is able to rush the Congress into approving his
bailout of his fellow Vampires, then there will be no revenues
available to reform health care, education, or to rebuild our
crumbling infrastructure. You can also forget about having funding
available to develop alternative clean, renewable energy supplies.
This
looks like another attempt to panic the Congress into buying another
pig, without first looking in the poke, the same way they bought the
Iraq war con game.
So
what if a meltdown is looming. Paulson is the one that suddenly
discovered that this might be about to happen, after he spent the
last year telling us, over and over, that he was sure that such a
thing was not going to happen. So why are we supposed to treat his
latest claim as if he has being infallible, when in fact, he appears
to have been dead wrong on every other prediction that he has made.
Let
us first determine if there is such a meltdown looming, or if it is
just another Bush WMD fable. Congress can demand that Paulson freeze
the meltdown, until after the elections, and that will provide them
sometime to this time examine all the evidence, and have their own
experts examine the books. Congress should not buy Paulson's economic
WMD scare, like they did the Iraq WMD lies.
Freeze
the trading and selling, and that will prevent a meltdown, and buy
time, until after the election.
Finally;
if we end up deciding that we should go ahead and purchase all of the
bad loans, then we should only purchase them at a percentage of their
face value. That is how the private sector would do it, so why
should the government pay full price for a load of garbage debts.
Also, if we end up taking over the bad debts, then we should also
insist that we are sold an equal amount of profitable assets.
To
switch metaphors: Why should we let the Wall St. Hog Farmers, charge
us a steep price to take away all of their hog shit, while allowing
them to keep all the hog meat!
