Fox news and Google News....
Is it me or is Fox playing games to get their stories (propaganda) to the top of the Google news page?
I was looking at Google news a few minutes age and a Fox story about how "the Bush Doctrine" was working in Iran was at the top of the Iran coverage.
Call me crazy but with all the Iran news out there I just don't understand how such a story could make it to the top of the top stories on Google without some type of shenanigans.

You know, I too have noticed this the last few months. Seems Fox is always at the top with their propaganda. I was thinking it might be due to the large single source audience Fox commands. Either way, it is bothersome.

The Yahoo news page has been full of Fox News like propaganda for at least a couple of years.

Nice try guys. But the reason FOX is up on Google News is due to the number of times they are linked to. Like them or not, they are a big player in the media and individual sites link to them often.

Fox is run by geniuses. Evil geniuses. But geniuses just the same.
Lets go back to swiftboating. The number one asshat who ran that libelous enterprise went ahead and was trying to do the same thing with Obama. Remember when he was exiled from Kenya? hahahahaha. Well conservative 'unthink tanks' put a bunch of money together and purchased boxes and boxes of that silly example of libel in order to boost the sales figures.
This second attempt failed, obviously.
But we have had a lot of testimony here about waiting rooms in hospitals and other places where the only channel running was Fox News....
This is ALL PLANNED.
AND I THANK YOU FOR THIS REVEALING POST.

Interesting point.
Fox has consistently been highly rated in viewership in prime time for cable. They are a preferred network for news viewership. The viewership translates to internet viewership. The one thing in common with the cable news and internet is the freedom of choice. Thus the point is choice for those who can afford cable.
Public viewing in hospitals, auto shops, dentist and even electronic stores is more nefarious. Either the employees or the customers are choosing to select what they wish to see.
I think the real heinous act is the magazine selections which are foisted upon us in waiting rooms. I must choose between the magazine or newspapers. The ones not addressed to the location are disseminated by policy wonks. Don't even get me started on those business card bowls in pubs.
It was better in the epoch before cable. You watched the major networks and accepted the limited choices as a benefit.
All of this choice is inhibiting free choice and MUST stop.
I WANT MY MTV !
