We could easily predict what world reaction would be if Israel bombed an orphanage and killed 61 children in an anti-terrorist bombing raid. Yet the international media, world governments and the UN are completely silent over this. Where is the self-righteous condemnation from koffi anan accusing Sri Lanka of deliberately bombing children? Where is the outrage of European governments and media outlets? Where are the protests with signs accusing the Sri Lankan government of committing genocide and behaving like nazis? Where are the complaints of disproportionate use of force? Nowhere to be found. Israel is constantly singled out for harsh criticism while other countries are given a free pass for far more aggregious acts. Can there be any doubt that the media and international community in general is extremely bias against Israel? I'm curious how some here will spin this and attempt to deny the anti-Israel bias.
