For those that will be FAXing (meaning everyone looking at this blog):
The maximum impact will be to FAX after COB on Wednesday, July 29 but before midday on the day of the protest (Thursday, July 30). Or in layperson terms:
between about 10 pm July 29 and 2 pm July 30.
Why these hours? Because it means the FAXes will tend to be lumped in with the rally going on. In fact, you may want to actually add a sentence that this is because you aren't at the rally.
And if the Senate and House leaders, committee chairs and ranking members, and the White House (i.e. all the people who everyone will be FAXing to) get deluged with individual letters -- all at once -- it will be a great impact.
As you saw, Obama refers quite often to letters he receives to back up his claims. Wouldn't it be cool to have him mention your FAX?
