A "Palin"
Talking with a friend today, a man named Russell Gilfoy, about the
upcomong election for President, Russell said there was only one choice
since John McCain "pulled a palin". He said John had added a new word
to the language. Instead of saying someone was "grasping at straws",
just say he was "pulling a palin". Who knows? He may be right. A
"palin" may be just the word we need to describe unwise, intemperate,
and/or foolish choices or actions.

I'll bet McCain would like to take a mulligan on his palin!

I love it! It may help to let Sarah get over her delusions of grandeur. I'm thinking FAUX NEWS pundit -- beyond that, it would be the Peter Principle. She wouldn't even have to read books and newspapers, etc to learn all the stuff she never cared about until 2 months ago. You can be a star of Faux News without knowing a damn thing!
I'm hoping Shepard Smith jumps ship; I always thought that guy had a brain in there. I'd like to see him on CNN or MSNBC. Maybe he could take over the Glenn Beck Idiot Hour and turn it into something informative.

By extension, we could change the slang term for a desperation 95-yard pass attempt as the clock runs out in a football game from a "Hail Mary" to a "Hail Sarah" (but only if it's unsuccessful).

A "hail Sarah", by definition, IS unsuccessful.
