John Mcain's other war?

To all the hard core female Clinton supporters, as a woman I get why you wanted senator Clinton as the nominee, and I sort of understand your anger at that not happening, but please don't take your vote to John Mcain.  If for no other reason than Roe v. Wade,  I am to young to remember when we didn't have a choice but I am old enough to appreciate the women who went before me to make sure that I had one.  John Mcain has stated that if given the chance he will nominate judges who might very well take that right away, is your anger and disappointment at Clinton not being the nominee worth this jump back in time?

Did I Hear Right?

I was watching senator Obama's introduction at the Jefferson Jackson dinner last night and I swear they introduced him as the next POTUS.  I didn't watch the beginning so I don't know if they introduced Senator Clinton in the same fashion but I find this interesting.  Did anyone else happen to catch this or was I projecting?

summertime

I'm sitting here contemplating all the things i'm going to be able to do this summer thanks to Mcain and Clinton graciously offering me about 28 extra dollars in my pocket.  Why it is almost as good as the rebate check I'm currently waiting for right now.  Thank you both for offering me a band aid for my internal bleeding.  I hear surgery that actually goes to the source of the bleeding is an option but I guess a short term fix is the better avenue cause the two people with experience said so

Question for hillary

Senator Clinton, if you believe so strongly that you in fact do have a clear path to the nomination why then don't you loan your campaign more of your own money so that you could pay off some of your outstanding debt?  Perhaps if people once again saw you putting some of your own money towards campaogn they would feel like it is a less risky investment

was i watching the same debate?

as i watched the debate last night i couldn't believe how no matter how many times sen.obama tried to turn the debate to actual issues that matter he just kept getting hammered on these non issues.  i thought sen. clinton could've taken the oppurtunity to show that she actually is about a dem winning in the fall and not her own agenda  she didn't.   what i don't understand are the talking heads who keep telling me how bad obama did that he looked frustrated and defensive, that's kind of the point.  all along he has been talking about a new kind of politics and not letting these non issue distractions take our attention away from the real problems that face our country, so to me his frustration was warrented and only reinforced to me that he means what he says about this campaign, and frankly i think all of these insiders don't really no the american people as well as they think.  we let this kind of attacks  take us down the road we are on now in this country and i believe that whether you are a republican or a democrat the country is ready for a choice between to candidates who really what to discuss policy and issues and not who the other waved to ten years ago and could he please explain why he chooses or doesn't choose the accessories he wears.  there is only one candidate in this scenerio who has consistantly gone over the top negative and it isn't mcain or obama.  sen clinton has insisted she learned her lesson during her husbands term unfortunately i think obama is right she learned all the wrong ones.

Chelsea?

Can somebody please explain to me why the camera kept going to Chelsea sitting in the audience flanked by Rendell and Nutter.  Did i miss them panning to Michelle or sen. casey?

I used to be that voter

I grew up in a small town in ohio on the border of Pa. and WV.  I know who and what obama was talking about in his comments because i use to be that voter.  My town dried up in the 80's when the steel industry took a hit, everybody hit hard times and it didn't seem like washington would or could do anything to revive us.  So out of a desire to feel like my vote really did matter I voted for Bush Sr. the very first time and the only reason i did was of the pro-life movement. i didn't look at economics or foreign policy or healthcare the only thing i looked at was who was pro-life and who was "pro abortion".  i now refer to that as pro-choice.  it wasn't until i started working in manufacturing and spent ten years watching the work force shrink and my healthcare cost skyrocket that i realized i may need to vote for more than one issue.  so all the clinton supporters out there please stop pretending you don't know what obama was talking about because you do, you know those voters.       this is the first time i've ever attempted to put my own thoughts out for comment so if it is a little rough i apologize
