It goes against my principles to rec or respond to a blog that offers no beginning to a conversation; only a title, but I decided to go for it anyway. The point of "blog now" is to state your feelings/opinions/ or to bring in citations for all of us to see, coupled with the blogger's view. Providing only a title is kind of cheap, but I'll bite this time:

Presumption of innocence is a legal term, and refers to how a jury has to approach their task in a trial. The rest of us can listen to his taped conversations and have an opinion. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact it is possible to be so open-minded that your brain can fall out.

Anyone who hears his taped conversations and thinks he is not guilty as sin simply didn't listen to the tapes. I have one very important question: Which Beatle is he trying to copy? He better look a little more macho when he gets to prison.

PLEASE, PLEASE, Patrick Fitzgerald! Don't let him go to a "country club" prison! He deserves hard time at a hard prison.

for what it's worth, i had some tech. dif. with the post. as i was about to begin i hit something and the title posted. i couldn't for the life of me figure out how to edit it. moving on.

presumption of innocence runs deeper than simply how a jury approaches their task. journalists, for example, stick to the principle. the idea that everyone gets their day in court is a big deal.

that said, i did call him an asshole. i read some of the transcripts and the guy seems as crooked as a dog's leg. that's my opinion, which i'm entitled, yada yada. the trouble comes when the pile on makes it harder for the innocent to defend themselves. it happens.

...and it's a tough, but i gotta go with john. one of those monkeys might fit the bill better, though. that little one--davey, is that his name?--maybe that's the look blago's goin' for.

How to edit. Click my name. Go back to the blog where it talks about "helpful hints for blogging with the new system."

That will tell you how to edit. Very simple.

Actually, I think he's trying to
look like Mark Cuban. He even sounds
and acts like Cuban. Not that Cuban is a
crook mind you. They have similar
personalities.

user-pic

wow. no one has ever wanted to look like mark cuban. mark cuban doesn't want to look like mark cuban.

"F*ck Mark Cuban!"

Signed,
Blago
