God Save the King!
With all the posts discussing fascism, "USA", Palin, the American myth/narrative, I was making a pot of coffee, and the irony inherent to the chanting of "USA" at the RNC really struck me.
Because really, these "America, love it or leave it" types...A couple-three hundred years ago they would've been shouting "God Save the King!" surely.
