The most beautiful thing I've heard on this glorious day!!!

I know we are all elated about this country's huge victory in the election of Obama to the presidency where we will see real change. And in that spirit, I heard something today that brought tears to my eyes. Apparently somewhere in New Jersey at an election party was a sign outside that stated these poetic phrases:

Rosa sat

so Martin Luther King could walk

so Obama could run

so our Children could fly

I am so hopeful that this is the paradigm shift that was destined to happen in this increasingly corrupt and dangerous world. I have all the faith that together, all of us, our government and our leader, we will CHANGE this country and the world.

Cafferty on CNN.com poses an excellent question. Why is Obama favored significantly more than McCain all across the world? I've always thought there was value in an outsiders opinion looking in. Really makes you wonder if they know something half of this country doesn't. Any chance we can get international media sources to report how their citizens are leaning here on TPM? Josh?

Rolling Stone has a great article outlining McCain in all of his not-so-great glory. I am afraid of this man having the power of the presidency and I hope that people take a deeper look into his deep past when deciding who to vote for, and not just the recent past. Though the article is a bit lengthy, it's very informative and gives great insight into the character of McCain. Please check it out and send on to all those undecideds that need a little more reason to vote against him.
