Taking advantage of the severe mental defects (terminal GOPtardation) exhibited by the incumbent and a national party newly willing to give attention to ignored constituencies, Walt Minnick has been elected as democratic congressperson for the 1st district of Idaho.

Congratulations to the congressman and his excellent campaign staff.  Also, many thanks to all the Idahoans who worked for this - and to Howard Dean and Obama for opening the party's eyes to new possibilities.  From "the Scream" to democratic political dominance ... what a journey.

Thus ends my Idaho Congressional Race Watch - notable for it's inability to get any attention from anywhere.
