My thoughts after the debate.
1. No one, especially the government, is going to tell me if I can or cannot have an abortion. It doesn't matter what my personal views are, it doesn't matter that at 50, and having gone through menopause already, that I can't have children anymore. NO ONE is going to take my right to choose away from me.
2. Mr. McCain, I WANT THE WEALTH TO BE SPREAD AROUND! How dare you think it's ok to keep giving your cronies the big breaks, and screw me in the process.
3. Seriously, Ayers? Lewis? ACORN? Joe the plumber?? WHO CARES!
4. Mr. McCain, you may not personally be GWBush, but your policies are just like his. So, yes, Mr. McCain, you ARE Bush!
5. Mr. McCain, you seriously need some anger management therapy.
6. Mr. Obama, yes, you might be in the lead, but how could you be so passive? Especially when it comes to Sarah Palin? How could you not bring up her ethics violation? Remember sir, it ain't over 'till it's over!
7. I'm voting this Saturday. If ANYONE tries to tell me I can't, I'll slap a civil lawsuit on them so fast it'll make them pee in their pants.

One thing, though, Obama didn't need to attack. McCain was too busy punching himself in the face and shooting himself in the foot. Obama was right to step back and remain calm, cool, and collected.

astral66: I know. I know it would have the worst thing Obama could have done, attacking a "woman". But geezalou, it's frustrating that he and Biden aren't really calling her out on her flat out lies! Even more frustrating is that ANYONE believes a word she says! ARGH! ;)

Than I hate to have to be the one to tell you that Roe v Wade has already done that. Roe v Wade clearly states that the states have the legal authority to regulate, and even proscribe abortion in the third trimester. About 4/5 of the states forbid third trimester abortions except where the life and health of the mother is at risk.
