Obama Supporters: CLINTON MUST DENOUNCE AND REJECT RENDELL

So, it has been a few weeks, but we all remember when PA gov Rendell stated that conversative whites would not vote for a black person. (See: http://video.msn.com/video.aspx?mkt=en-us&vid=1224d64b-b93c-4688-9c12-a378d79b5914) Of course, Rendell, who has been and is one of Clinton's biggest supporters in PA, is fortunate that his "gaffe" took place before the new rules. We learned at the debate in OH that when a supporter says something utterly offensive, i.e., racist, sexist or anti-semetic, about other people --especially your opponent--you distance yourself. Clinton went out of her way to make clear that it is not enough to "denounce" people who say such things, you have to "reject" them, hence the now famous two-fer by Obama: "I would reject and denounce."

So, HRC, where is the rejection? When I see you ridin' shotgun with Rendell, I see a political marriage with not a wrinkle in sight--what's up with that?

Before you  retort, 'but he apologized and clarified!,' I would direct you to Samantha Powers, who also apologized and clarified, and yet is today's casualty of the hypocritical, power-hungry Clinton camp. With them, "do as I say and not as I do," has never had more potency.

Clinton's 3+ strikes: major deceit, minor media coverage

As other bloggers have pointed out, although Clinton insists that Obama must "answer for" Rezko, she has failed to answer for her own Rezko ties. Firstly, Margie Burns has pointed out that Clinton has received campaign contributions from several of Rezko's co-defendants. See here: http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977248069  Add that to the photo of them snug as a bug in a rug together and we go from plausible deniability to liar liar pants on fire.(http://weblogs.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/blog/2008/01/photos_surfaces_of_hillary_cli.html)

Secondly --and too late for OH and TX --it has been revealed that the Clinton campaign, moreso than the Obama campaign, offered Canada assurances that any talk of opening NAFTA during the last debate should be taken with a mound of salt. Nafta-Gate indeed. See here: http://themoderatevoice.com/at-tmv/newsweek-blogitics/18232/canada-pm-aide-also-mentioned-clinton-campaign-assurances-on-nafta/

Thirdly, Clinton, the beacon of feminist light, has accepted large donations from a firm accused of rampant sexual harassment. See here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/29/clinton-accepts-donations_n_89306.html

As a bonus, Clinton loves to state "my husband did not wrap up the nomination until June," while conveniently omitting that (1) the 1992 contest started must later; and (2) he went into the convention the presumptive nominee because he had the pledged delegate lead. See here:

And lastly, by way of remembrance, Clinton today compared Obama to Ken Starr when he called for her to be vetted about her failure to release her tax returns. Aside from the lunacy of the comparison, let us note that, despite your personal view about the sanctity-of-a-man-having-an-affair-with-his-intern-in-the-privacy-of-his-own-Whitehouse, former President Clinton was impeached for his illegal conduct. What a first!

Psychologists would have a field day with all the projection coming out of the Clinton camp.
