No Pictures, but at around 8:20 pm a group of runners counting off as the ran around the front perimeter at Somerville City Hall townhall with Senator Kerry. I overheard one police officer saying to another that they shouldn't be letting them do that. What do we want? Public Option!

Between 60 - 100 people showed up for a demonstration supporting the public option in Massachusetts, where MassHealth is already available for those unable to afford private insurance.
The demonstrators were disappointed in the lack of participation of the 20 somethings and 30 somethings, but as a late 20 something, I think it's the complex nature of health insurance. If we were rallying behind a single payer universal health care system, then there'd be more turnout, but as we speak, the public option is being pulled off the table. I just wanted to show you that there are people out there fighting for healthcare insurance reform and the public option.
