Saturday Night Live - Obama Skit- = Idiotic

Hey friends out there, the SNL skit this weekend on President Obama was beyond the truth. Whether you agree with me or not, there was not an ounce of truth in it.

Nine months of Obama compared to eight years of Bush, folks have short memories. It's a shame what has been done to this president...just saying...

"Saturday Night Live" opened its show with a harsh review  of President Obama last night. That focused on failed promises

.

Promise Kept rulings on the Obameter

Gallup Poll as of 8/7 has Obama job approval up at 58%

Polls are in all directions! Quinnipiac University Poll had Obama at 50% as of yesterday. Republicans were using the results of that poll to prove their talking points!

Whatever, I say we have a fickle public!

Good job President Obama, keep moving forward and focusing on the issues vs. contrived drama!

Link to Gallup poll.

Tamryn Hall and Donny Deutsch

This is much about nothing, but watching the above two anchor the 3pm ET show on MSNBC today, all I have to say is awkward!  It's funny to watch!
But I love how Donny went off on the Washington Times Reporter and on Sarah Palin.  I love the looks Tamryn keep giving Donny!
Anyways as I said, much about nothing!

Left Wing Obama Bashing

I am saddened by your Obama bashing.

I understand the concern of torture but to be honest, health care reform, social security, the economy specifically the job market are a 100 times more important at the moment since those policies will directly impact the majority of Americans! The media tends to focus the least on what are the most important issues to affect our children and us! All are unfortunately falling into that trap!

Focus, focus, focus!!

In response to comments:

Yes, torture is wrong, should not occur, affects thousands, however:

how many millions aren't receiving health care coverage?
how many millions can't pay for prescription medicine?
how many millions can't clothe and feed their children?
how many kids are receiving a sub par education?

I understand if it was my family member then I would want them to be helped, that is how i feel about the poor and disconnected that live in urban and rural areas in this country.

I am not saying torture crimes should not be prosecuted...but to be more of a concern than healthcare, education, I don't think so...

We can focus on torture while the power less who live here in the usa, aren't receiving basic needs...that is a moral concern also.

UPDATE:

There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with Obama, but the left wing bloggers and commentators who are crucifying him over the torture debate need to take a moment and breathe. the guy has barely been in office, give him some time to do this the correct way.

seriously, the response has been amazing...

I don't trust in Obama with blind optimism, but he is a methodial, rational, and practical person...he has all the "al"'s going for him.

a calm, well though out approach always works better in all aspects of politics and life!

MSNBC has a poll up about the President's job so far for the first 100 days.  Republicans are flooding it with "F" votes.  Pass this address on and go to it to vote:

CNN, "How dare Obama smiles while shaking Chavez's hand, that shows his inexperience"

This was part of the conversation on John King's State of the Union on CNN today. They seriously said that.

UPDATED: 04.20.09

CNN posted this article today, this is way to much analyzing over a handshake and a smile!

Shake hands with Chavez but hold smiles, analyst says

Story Highlights
  • President Obama, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez shake hands at summit
  • GOP senator: It's "irresponsible" to be seen "laughing and joking" with Chavez
  • It's OK to shake hands, but Obama shouldn't seem too friendly, CNN analyst says
  • Responding to critics, Obama says, "I don't worry about the politics"

Giving up Huffingtonpost

Huffingtonpost.com  is starting to be questionable. They have been posting lots of false, misleading, anti-Obama, hysteria driving headlines, I am concerned...it's like Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, and Drudge are posting all the headlines and articles! Anyone else notice?

Talking Points and Daily Kos keep up the good work!!!

UPDATE 4.10.09

I agree with everyone that Obama and his administration need to be held accountable but I also think they deserve fair criticism not misleading headlines that are off base.

And yes, there are a ton of right wing trolls posting outlandish comments on huffingtonpost.

AIG BonusTax is unconstitutional

AIG BonusTax is unconstitutional. A bonus should not have been received, but wrong to change the rules after not implementing TARP properly.

Media = Hysteria

Despite what the media says, Obama's rating is at 65%, the public knows common sense vs. hysteria when they see it!

John Stewart wipes CNBC Clean- a must watch

Elizabeth on the View, Joe and Pat from MSNBC

Elizabeth - Seriously, how can someone be so narrow minded!

Joe and Pat - Why are they even given air time, Pat is such an open racist and Joe just says foolishness!

Jindal on 60 Minutes

Simply horrible! I am from a family of immigrants and not to practice any of the traditions you grew up with...strange.

60 minutes interview click here

DAVID GREGORY- what is up with him? He definitely Leans Republican!

What is up with David Gregory...this guy leans Republican. He is doing an unfair job of being moderator...he needs to bring points up by both sides...not just Republican talking points...it is amazing to watch!

All his quotes and criticism come from the right! and seriously MSNBC and other networks, need to be careful with throwing around the word "class warfare"! it is irresponsible journalism!

I really miss Tim!

Rush Limbaugh - two semesters of college - then flunked out and now the leader of the Republican party!

Ok, everyone, the Republicans are following this guy, here is his educational background from Wikipedia:

Limbaugh graduated from Cape Central High School, in 1969. His father and mother wanted him to attend college, so he enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University. He dropped out after two semesters and one summer; according to his mother, "he flunked everything" even a modern ballroom dancing class. As she told a reporter in 1992, "He just didn't seem interested in anything except radio."

Posted on CNN's home page:

Rush Limbaugh brought a cheering crowd to its feet several times Saturday as he called on fellow conservatives to take back the country in the keynote speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference. "He played to his crowd here," CNN Political Analyst Mark Preston said. "And this crowd is now energized."

UPDATE (2.2.09):

Interesting comments that i received. I wasn't critizing folks with out a college degree, just stating that Rush obvioulsy could have used some history and socio-economic lessons.  Not meant to offend, please don't overanalyze!
