- Politics I have voted for both Republican and Democratic presidents, and have voted for R, D, and I candidates in state and local elections. I've always believed in voting for the person who will do the best job for the majority of us, not just myself. I believe in unity, not division. I am against the concept of political parties and wished we would have heeded the warnings of George Washington.
