Palin still made stupid statements

Although the punditry has made the opinion that Palin committed no errors, I beg to differ with this conclusion. First of all Palin got the civil war general McClellan confused with the current general McKiernan, who is in charge in Afghanistan . Then she stated that nuclear war would be "very bad,' and sounded like a little kid. Not to mention all of the non-answers when it came to the economy. The only thing that Palin said was that a future McCain presidency would not be a third term of the Bush administration without coming up with any specifics about how McCain's policies are different. As I have written before that the punditry will ignore these stupid statements and just concentrate on how she connects with rural voters, who according to the MSM, are the only demographic that counts.

Ignoring Palin's stupidity

In the upcoming debates many seemed to still overate Palin even after the many gaffes after the Gibson and Couric interviews. Michelle Cottle and Alexander Burns seemed to stress Palin's performance in the Alaskan debates, but Alaska is a heavily rural and very Red state, where an ultra-rightwinged politician like Palin could get elected regardless of her performance in the debates. Michelle Cottle and Alexander Burns appear to be somehow elavating this very stupid person's reputation. When will the MSM just call her stupid and not ready to be VP. Instead they believe that her corny non-specific answers which play well with the base and those that live in Alaska will somehow appeal to swing state voters. I'm sick of seeing how the MSM views every average voter as a rural red stater. This perception of working class rural whites as the voter to cater to by the MSM has only made them overate Palin as a politician. I'm just afraid that the MSM will react positively to Palin's general non-specific dumb answers because they appeal to red state voters.
