Yahoo's Home page Headlines--Obama's lead shrinking? Drudge Part II?
I find it odd, in lieu of Josh's post regarding Obama's upward movement in the polls, that www.yahoo.com has as their headline news post a story stating: "Obama's DNC bounce smaller than others and shrinking".
It links to a Politico story, with the headline: "Obama's convention bounce smaller than others".
I have also noticed during the past few week's yahoo's home page linking to Ron Fournier covert hit pieces, with headlines which are negative towards the Obama camp. It would not be such a big deal if it was any website, but yahoo is the second most traversed web-page in the United States, according to Quantcast. The consistent drum beat of negative leaning articles found on their home page is interesting, and something which should be noted. Moreover, who editorialized the above headline on the homepage, to ad "and shrinking" to the original headline? Why was that added? How are news stories selected to run on their home page?
