Michael Steele is a Republican (and a shiny-headed douchebag)

I was in the Balto-Wash area today, so I got to hear C-SPAN radio. Michael Steel was blabbering about something, which turned out to be the Democratic Initiative to create a system of health in the US. He's just a Republican, but he should be expected to be smarter than the ones he bullshits for votes and a steady government paycheck. So yeah, these lying slobs are kicking up dust again.

First, he and at least 1,000 other people enjoy government-provided health benefits, so he should have been forced to shut the F up already, or else give them up and go buy some. He's obviously in good health for an Alzheimer's patient, as are the rest of the fat bastards on the Hill.
Another 'issue' he 'has' with public health is choice. Another piece of poop from a bull, he 'forgets'  we have a 'choice' now. For example, I can choose to pay almost $1,000 every month or pay $75 cash for my doctor visits. My wife can 'choose' to treat her likely hypoactive thyroid. She can go straight to a specialist if she wants, because we aren't paying dues to the insurance racket for access.

Controlling costs is an actual issue the RNC seems to be smoking. That's a good first step, since the med market is a bubble. There is a correction coming, and the doctors and insurers know it. That's why they signed on already. Leave the correction to people interested in seeing another correction happen sooner than later, so the RNC can keep doing whatever they do instead of governing. Why are the prices going up? Because insurance is a racket employing armies of people with no contact with health or patients. These for-profit companies must increase profit or their stock prices crash. Y'see Mikey, we shop now, and the industry simply doesn't have to offer anything competitive as they presently do ration health care.

A semi-real phantom exists, where doctors are paid exhorbitantly. But I have skills too, which I spent a lot of time developing and which can offer a lot of benefit to customers. Surely the preservation of your life should fetch a pretty penny, and providers should be under pressure to maintain very high quality. They aren't, but look- they're getting screwed by their own insurers! TORT reform is nonsense too. If you cut off my kid's hand, it had better be the right correct one, or I'm coming after you. Limit the monetary damages, and you're forcing people to take up arms against doctors, who probably should be working with fewer patients.

I don't see it his way. Steele warns of a government health care plan to compete with private insurers. I want a government plan to 1) force the prices down, and 2) provide X-rays, stitches and mammograms, all of which are commonplace and insanely overpriced. It would be different if the technician running the machine got a piece of the business, but they don't. The insurers and providers are indicating that they'll come with. Just not the RNC. Why do they hate Americans? That's what the Christians say, right? In a Judeo-Christian society full of people with their own interests to consider, I really can't get my hands around any reason to let it continue to run itself.

Michael Steele is proof again how morally and politically bankrupt republicans are. Check out this little gem......
