Ooo- what's Cheney Going to Say?????

"I was right and he is wrong. You like me, since I'm the tough guy. Can't run a quarter mile, and my wife's lesbian novel isn't in print.I took every deferrment I could get to avoid Vietnam. But those bastards in the Federal Gvernment changed the rules. Said I had to have a kid. So I had a kid, and now she's a lesbian. You need to understand where my priorities are. Were. Now it's all about war, patriotism, all that crap. I'd volunteer right now, but the damned feds won't let me kill anything more exotic than a tied-up pigeon, or a lawyer, but I think that's legal anyway.

Yes, I ran KBR for a while, but not well. Those soldiers we electrocuted must have been showering wrong. How am I still relevant? Can't tell you. Secret. Offshore.

We need Gitmo. Just like Saddam Hussein, there are people there who know what we did when Rummy was taller and slightly more arrogant. The Searle boys, yeah some of themare there. Or Bolivia. You wouldn't shutter Bolivia would you? How can you even suggest that?

President Obama is crazy if he thinks the Bolivians are more of a threat than a few dozen sand niggers- ahem, A-rabs and Pakis. That's why the country is on the wrong track. You hippie faggots are so distracted by needing health and safe surroundings you've forgotten about the terrorist we let into the country and then watched destroy some of the most valuable real estate in the world. Think of the monies!

Where was I ? Oh, yeah, can't tell you that either. My life is not to be understood or studied, since it ended a few decades ago. Yeah, pig hearts work fine, but now I'm bionic..."

No, we're not doing enough about terror to keep voters terrified.

Cheney's right. Their entire platform was fear. Now we've upended it, and gotten to work on work, and Cheney's worried his Presidential Legacy will be the lack of RNC Presidents.

Same argument on the Gitmo detainees. We can't possibly have those people- <i>those scary, scary people who we need to be afraid of</i> locked in a box in a concrete castle miles away from everybody the RNC wants to be scared.

Wow, what a pussy I must be, to buy this crap about those individuals possessing super powers- they must be superior to usf you buy the RNC spin.

Have you ever been to America? We shoot us. Let 'em out.

My Man Panetta

It's not easy, being smart, accomplished and creative, and still find yourself called upon to serve your country. Usually those people get sucked up by industries and allowed to fend for themselves together. Imagine the 'smartest guys in the room' at Enron. The Dark Side is Seductive.

His masterful non-denial of Pelosi's claims are to be noted. While I'm not crazy about Congress (they make laws), I am proud of the corps of Americans working in the NSA/CIA/AEIOUs. I'm also proud of faithful people.

The Agency was wounded recently. It was used for purposes other than that for which it was built, which warped the steering and shook several nuts from the drive system. It is a paramilitary organization though, something like a militia. As long as it continues to look outward, it's one of us.

WE ALREADY KNOW the Bush administration did everything it could to stymie Democratic aspirations, to impair their work, to TURN OFF THE POWER during Committee hearings. We know that. Panetta isn't telling us anything new, just that he's our man at the Agency, and he's standing with them so shut up already.

That said, Pelosi is an Italian Grandmother with huge cans. Leon is a Panetta, but not just any Panetta. His parents were Carmelina Maria (née Prochilo) and Carmelo Frank. If there were anything amounting to conflict here, we would certainly be hearing it and complaining about the noise. We'd be worried about flying tableware.

And I can say this with certainty. I'm Italian by marriage.

But more to the point, Panetta's not the only one who knows how to be true to the family. Pelosi's doing fine too.

Evil Axis of Pelosi

Speaker Pelosi didn't torture. She didn't hire her buddies to go build special barracks with electrocution showers to kill US soldiers. She didn't make any IEDs, and she didn't make any decisions that resulted in bare-skin Hummers, insufficient body armor, pathetically insincere troop levels.

Others have eloquently argued against the current clusterF currently occupying a miraculous near-half of the United States' legislature, and the notion that the opposition party could be complicit in nearly a decade of Republican misbehavior- even human rights abuses under orders from the Republican Party, which won't protect you from the government unless you have a market cap. I want to highlight it and amplify the bad-words parts. The ones where we look at each other and ask whether the 'assholes apparently speaking a grouchier and less textured English are high right now' or whether they're auditioning for something. In my auditions, I use the Evil One's monologue from Time Bandits, and without context it's pretty silly.

King, especially, is a pud. A really lame one. That's an aside and a personal slight, but King was one of the Members. The guys running the show from ~1994 to about 2006 when the RNC majority was cut enough to give air to the 'opposition'. You may know them as 'the Republicans'.

I hope you people currently following these dipshits, dough boys and drug addict/ambling addict serial lotharios with bated breath are also timing your suicide to coincide with the Rapture, so just in case Baby Jesus doesn't come you'll at least be out of here.

John Yoo

I'm cancelling my subscription to the Philadelphia Inquirer because they popped a scoop of John Yoo atop a smelly sundae of Rick Santorum and Charles Craphammer. Craphammer has been most strident in repositioning everything he's said as a tougher and smarter version of it. Santorum is lokoing for his Q, something he could use to get pop star attention from like-thinking assholes. But those are just wanna-be influencers, politicians.

ohn Yoo is an apologist lawyer for the W crew. Them's the ones what just sucked the world into depression. But John Yoo is among the distinguished few Americans who can't travel abroad because he'll be whisked away to the Hague to stand for trial on war crimes charges. Allowing him to practice law is an affront to the concept of law.

This enabler was essential to the NeoCon heresies against our beloved Constitution.

I'll wait until 5/22, but the decision has been made. Either he goes or I stop reading newspapers. Yes, the Philadelphia Inquirer may be ruining another slice of demographic for the print industry with this felon.
