Obama Nobel Prize Well Deserved
Looks like the Nobel Committee unanimously selected a marxist/muslim/death panel/nazi as winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. I guess this means the Nobel Committee is also part of the great conspiracy.
Quite a large number of elected Republicans have committed themselves to some or all of the wing-nut theories. As reality becomes more apparent over time, the nut-ball statements of these Republicans will come back to bite them.
By the way, I can't think of any single individual who has done more to shift the war dynamic than Barrack Obama. I think a lot of Americans don't even realize what he has already accomplished.
How about this.. John McCain, the guy who just a few months ago was singing "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran..." is now congradulating President Barrack Obama. Yes, the tables are starting to turn. Keep it up Mr. President. Work that rope-a-dope until they're punch drunk, then seize the moment!

Guess I'm reading between the lines, Joe. You could turn out to be our "Joe the Mechanic!" Welcome! I don't do recommends because we have a club here. If you are in it, horse s__t gets a rec...Doesn't matter how bad it smells.

Yes sir, that's me. I am your Joe the Mechanic. There are millions of us.
If you don't think Barrack Obama deserved the Nobel Peace Prize, perhaps you could tell me anyone that the war mongers hate more.
A unanimous vote, it's Barrack Obama.

Hmmmm..... while in no way detracting from JtM's welcome here, please note that the assertion, Quite a large number of elected Republicans have committed themselves to some or all of the wing-nut theories, is not quite accurate. Any manner of wing-nut pundits have not only attached themselves to the theories, but have in fact originated them. So far, however, the elected wing-nuts have remained oddly silent on the subject.
This may perhaps be a reason for the lack of recommendations from the "club".

Seashell quibbles with my statement "Quite a large number of elected Republicans have committed themselves to some or all of the wing-nut theories."
Glad you are a stickler for accuracy, so am I. I haven't counted the number of elected Republicans that have bought in to the wing nut stuff, but I think it's substantial. One of the main themes of the GOP presidential campaign themes was that Obama is affiliated with terrorists. Many elected Republicans have openly expressed birther and/or deather sympathies. Almost all Republican members of congress have claimed that Obama's health care proposal (what ever it is) amounts to a government take over of health care. This claim is unreal and I classify it as a wing nut theory. Reasonable minds may differ on the level of nutiness.
Seashell, what about my main point? Republicans have gone too far over the edge and it will come back to bite them. The Nobel Prize strengthens Obama's credibility as a world leader, rather than a Kenyan-marxist death panelist. Is not the Nobel a slap in the face to the nutters?

Obama won the Nobel for his lifetime achievement of being the first Nobel prize winner awarded a Nobel prize preemptively.
Now if winning a Nobel isn't an achievement worthy of a Nobel prize, what is? I mean, come on. Knowing they were going to give him the Nobel, and that this wold be such a huge achievement, they had to give him the Nobel for that, or else they would be like, not be giving him the Nobel even though he deserved it for getting the Nobel.
I I were to pitch it to Hollywood I'd say it's Lewis Carroll meeting The Minority Report.

The giving of the peace prize to President Obama is absurd, but it is not his fault.
I guess it's just as much of a "Hope" prize as anything else. I think it's more of a challenge to the President to actually accomplish something during the remainder of his term.
This is an award for not being George Bush. It is an award for not making the world nervous. It is an award for sharing the basic sentiments of the committee. It is an award for what President Obama MAY do, but not what he has done.
The Committee puts the President in a terrible spot, because it puts a lot of pressure on him that I don't think was necessary.
Hopefully the President will get the spotlight off himself and put it on America to restore its standing in the world.

Then seize the moment? Hard to surpass winning the presidency and then the Nobel Peace Prize less than a year later. He has seized the moment, Joe.
