President Bush;
It would do your legacy a world of good if you took the moral pathway and pardoned Don Siegelman in the days before you leave office.

With just 75 days left in your administration, you have an opportunity to, in some small way, shed a positive light for the schoolchildren of the future to look back on, and offering a pardon to Siegelman would accomplish that for you.

There is little doubt Siegelman was a victim of your own DOJ used awry, so take this opportunity to rectify just one of the black marks against your legacy. Pardon Don Siegelman, while you still have the power to do so.

If not for Siegelman's sake, do it for the sake of unity between our embattled partisan factions, and do it for your own sake.

Rectifying this egregious injustice could only be good for your soul.
