Cui Bono from the bailout? Where is it going?

This is our tax money, just where is it really "going?"  It should help the defaulted family homeowners first and the CEO's and micro-managers of those failed corporations last.

We see talk of almost a trillion taxpayer bucks going towards correcting this correction, so here's a few logical questions:

...where is it going?
To the homeowners who got ripped in the first place?
Or to some layer of corporate bullies who mismanaged us into this mess in the first place?
And how did they manage to manuever the value of our very homes into such vulnerability?
How does this bailout affect middle-class equity, which is taking the big hit at it's fundamental roots?
Seriously, just where is this "bailout" going?

How can Palin and Mccain keep raising funds if they are on the public dime?

"Just out of curiosity, (I truly don't know), how can Palin do a fundraiser if the campaign is taking public finance?  Is she fundraising for something else?"

Saw this in the comments on the NBC blog, I've been wondering the same thing myself... how does McCain get contributions when he is on public financing?  If he sucked in $50 million last month, how does that apply to his $84 million limit?

IANAL, but something is rotten in Washington, and it doesn't take a lawyer to smell it.
