My first Blog cried out to "GET MY ATTENTION!!!"  I have at least got my own attention and have read a couple of "overheard on blogs" articles. One was quite interesting. It had info on military commander's reaction to the race to  Baghdad. Unfortunately it was entitled, "Curiously timed desire to release oral histories (artappraiser). I clicked on it IN SPITE of the title and was glad I did. Good story...

On the other hand I also clicked on the blog article titled "Blather as argument" because it was an eye catching title. Although the writer made some good points, it was not an interesting read. He needed to be a little less reasonable. Maybe come right out and call Horowitz a "fame whore twit" or something...give us something to remember.

You can do better Dems..write for the masses if you want the masses to hear. If you don't care if they hear, then just write in a private diary or something....

That's it! Just get my attention...I've followed politics and cared about so many issues for such a long time. But not so much any more. I watch TV SHOWS now. It's happened in just the past year.... Oh, I am aware of the problems of the Republicans and hope desparately that they fall down and go boom. But I am not up to speed on the details. Because I am not interested enough. Why? I don't know...I SHOULD BE. Bush's fall from grace is the greatest thing going on in a decade. But I'm not that into it for some reason.  Why??? I ask again...  Maybe it's because because LOST has more to say to me than the Dems at this point in time. How sad is that? Especially since LOST has been nothing but reruns for so long I've forgotten  Hurley's numbers! I can't even remember the plot(s) half the time. But I care enough to check the LOST websites every day just in case somebody has a new theory about the island or a cute picture of Sawyer or Sayid. When did I become so shallow? I blame the Dems!!! They have laid low for so long I can't seem to find them anymore.

 I want to want to (yes, I repeated that on purpose.)listen to and even work for the Dems again. But I still don't hear them.  Cuz they ain't saying a dang thing.  Or if they are, it hasn't been interesting enough to get my attention. I wanted to vomit when I checked out the right wing  piggies' racist lying attack website on Rep Ford. Especially after it occurred to me that the Dems didn't draw my attention to Mr. Ford. They didn't make me want to see what good things  Rep. Ford is doing. Or any other Democrat for that matter. They have made Howard Dean and Barrack Obama BORING.  Once again, when it came to candidates, it was the Repub piggies who got my attention. I know more about Katherine Harris than any Dem.  WTF??? The Repubs suck, they are lying thieves and thugs and maybe even going to hell, but they are the ones that GOT MY FRIGGIN ATTENTION!!!! Can YOU get MY attention my dear Dems????

 Please... I know you are better than those guys. But I can't hear you. Speak the frik up! Okay? Make us pay attention...Give us something to be excited about. PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! It can't be that hard.
