"I must tell you if I was being selfish and listened to my wife, I would accept the results of yesterday's primary, finish my term and go out and make a lot of money," Lieberman said.

The only people in America who think he should run are Republicans and neo-cons. Even his wife doesn't think he should run.

But what's his alternative? After 35 years in public service, he's going to make a lot of money. How? By founding a cable tv company? By starting up a new software venture? Working for a hedge fund in Greenwich?

No. We know who he's gonna make lots of money. He'll do it in Washington, working the Gucci graft lobbies.
