Finally some integrity around here.

And I appreciate your questioning of what a recovery will look like.
Because anyone that says they do can immediately be dismissed as a fraud.

Theres no doubt Obama failed to protect homeowners from losing their homes while caving in to the banks and making this depression much worse.

And while one must be very cautious with polling it appears the support for Obama is fading as people see things are getting much worse in their lives while the rich thrive with wall street bailouts.

Nothing good will come of this and with no jobs and no recovery its hard to see any politician will ever gain the trust of the people .

Maybe that will be one good thing to come of all this.

Obama had a chance to be great by pushing programs with the dem congress that could have taking back the country from what bush destroyed.

His support would have crushed his critics and left them on the sidelines for generations.

Instead he chose more war , the most massive exchange of wealth in history and a continuation of most of the bush policies starting with telecoms immunity all the way to stacking key positions with wall street and corporate hacks.

I was an early critic and now more are waking up.

Take your best shots people as I expect the usual suspects but pretending wont change the fact that Obama will never regain the support he enjoys now after he losses it.

Here's one way to prove it.

Obama could by executive order prohibit speculation in oil.
You would see the price drop to under 40 overnight.

i agree with your understanding of why peple are attrcted to palin.

i have often made the same case.

but, i dont see her going anywhere.
in fact she is a bigger headache to the republicans then obama ever could be.

she devides the party.

palin can never change what she is and that is not appealing to anyone outside of her base.
so she cant make much headway nationally.

in fact she will not receive any support from the party and i would bet she only realized that shortly after her silly resignation.

so they are stuck with someone who appeals to the worse in people at the same time they need to attract new voters.

it cant be done.

the real reason plain quit is she has been exposed and will never be able to function in secrecy in alaska anymore.

everything she does is deception and all her energy is used trying to hide her motives because she is always always, planning her next move.

who with any intelligence can believe her pathetic attempts at explainations?

she needs to step away to step back.
everything must be under her own control.

she feels out of control when not in control.

she honestly believes she can pull this off but she is finished on the national stage.
not because of this but because the party wants nothing to do with her.

they know her to well.
expect to see lots of her next when .if her book gets published.

till then not much of a splash.

no one really wants her around.

i think its time to stop responding to this stuff.

the wing-nuts believe anything she says and she wants to aggitate everyone else for the attention.

i still believe at the bottom of all this is the fact she was told and finally realizes she has no place on the national ticket for the republicans in the future.

my bet is she intends to milk it for as much money as she can and play it by ear.

her lasting contribution will be to demonstrate how low the bar is this country for politicains and the intellect of a part of the people.

doesnt palin show how far dumbed down this country and its people are?
i realize this has been said before but it needs repeating.

heres is woman who can not speak for more then a minute because she just cant make sense in her arguments.

she denys the truth of science.

she believes a man flying in the sky in a plane over a state gives her "experience".
the list can go on forever.

why isnt she lauged off the stage by everyone in the media?

and she still has defenders because a small minority of people like her.

like her??

why??

i always say these people only relect the population.
what a ad reflection.
