She may be having some effect, as 1 in 5 voters who support her wont be voting for Obama, according to exit polling. Even more revealing and the point of the subject, nearly 80% of her supporters believe the race for the nomination is neck and neck with her chances to win the nomination equal to Obamas. Seeking any ally she can muster she embraces the people who sought her and her husbands destruction, most notably Richard Mellon Scaife .   Scaife was the principal funder of a news media propaganda campaign aimed at defaming and discrediting President Clinton. Scaife has also bankrolled a nationwide crusade charging that White House aide Vincent Foster did not commit suicide, but was murdered; something which was also the subject of official investigation by the recipient of Scaife's largesse, Kenneth Starr , Whitewater independent counsel. Her ability to forgive and forget is admirable and its only of secondary importance that while embracing Scaife she criticizes and betrays the organization, Moveon.org, that formed initially to defend her husband against the republicans attempt to impeach him.   Discarding or abandoning anyone that no longer furthers her ambition is a character trait she wears proudly, right where the flag lapel pin would be worn. An adornment not lost on the keen eyes of the fox news network who she now praises as being the most "fair and balanced," to her campaign. Never mind that the network is a propaganda machine for the bush administration that she claims to be running against, or the fact that their 2 highest rated cable shows exist by catering to "the angry white male." Of course, being oblivious to the idea of racist politics she warmly accepts their support.When unfounded accusations accusing the clintons of playing the race card were made supporters Ed 'some whites will never vote for a black man" Rendell, Gerry "Obama only is where he is because he is black" Ferraro and Andrew "shuck and jive Obama" Cuomo quickly came forward to dispell that notion.   Of course if one was being cynical it could be suggested that being broke forced her new alliances and even perhaps a wink and a nod to the corporate media that should she somehow get elected they would receive some terrific goody bags at the inaugural ball. Yet such analysis falls short when taking into account the personal integrity that hillary repeatedly demonstrates. (NAFTA and the Colombian trade agreement quickly come to mind.)   But more then anything else its the shot and beer hillary that most endears her to the common everyday folk. She is most at ease sharing duck hunting stories and other tales that she just as honestly recalls that also had to do with the firing of guns.   Naturally being the modern independent woman she reserves the right to reinvent herself as circumstances might dictate.   But that just doesn't matter because no matter who or what she becomes she at her core will always be the Hillary that we have come to expect.

The ad starts with hillary giving the viewers her account of the Bosnia sniper lie in a box on top right of the screen. Obama will upset the clintons in pa.
massive turnout among first time voters and the youth vote will put him over the top.
 hillary will  lose part of her strongest base, women voters.

exit polls will show Obama to have closed the gap based on the perception that hillary was pandering and seen as being disingenuous in her attacks on him.
this result will force her from the race and will be viewed as a direct refutation of her character.

  I have to respond to today's comment. The one you describe as "Fascinating ...", I find it devoid of any logic. Like the part that Obama should "take one for the team". Evidently even if well intentioned the writer doesn't understand the naivety of his/her words. Whether or not Hillary has another chance means absolutely nothing and she is the one who is losing. If anyone should do the right thing it is her, but since her sense of entitlement prevents that instead we see her desire to destroy as much as she can out of rage she no doubt is suffering to keep under public control. And it was very nice of the reader to tell us all that Obama should accept her offer as VP because after all it is " the position he is better qualified for, and it would end a situation that is supposedly hurting the party,". That this writer cant understand that Hillary IS hurting the party speaks to what I find most troubling about her supporters. That being the idea that it is Obama who has campaigned in some underhanded way.   Does anyone really believe that if the results so far were reversed and Hillary had achieved what Obama has, that anyone in the press or the democratic party would be arguing that the nomination wasn't over? Or if Obama had been caught lying about running away from sniper fire and a hail of bullets that his campaign would have been destroyed by such lies?   No, there is a double standard here that Obama has to be perfect . Just the issue of the clergy alone demonstrates it . Where was the week of the Rev.Hagee video insulting the catholic religion and making anti-Semitic statements?   It wasn't there.   Make no mistake that Ifeel Obama is not without faults, but after 8 years of the worse man as president in our history we need someone who will offer everything he is not. Intellect , a desire to negotiate peace , a sensitivity to the average person, etc. He is at this point in time Americas best hope to rise above the divisions that the political parties and the press perpetuate to keep the people at each others throats.   If this chance to elevate this country to a level that gets us beyond those divisions is missed they will never come again. Can anyone contemplate what this country would resemble after 4 years of a McCain war presidency?   The time is now for Obama. He alone offers the chance to set this country back on its path of ideals.

no, this will not go all the way to a floor fight so the party can be fractured and the chance of significant democratic gains are lost because the clintons must be handled with kid gloves.

the depth of the economic decline is this country is only beginning.
there will be rationing of food and gas before it peaks.
there will be riots in the street for food and blackwater type goons policing them.
there will be expanded war into iran and syria.
there will be near elimination of the middle class.
the internment camps that have been built and are waiting will be filled to over capacity.

it will take generations to bring this country back to anything resembling a constitutional republic.

And odds are it will never happen.

9:21, watching msnbc. hillary is speaking. she seems tired ,uninspired.
I know its hard for me to focus on something when my mind is caught up somewhere else.
