Given my frequent tendency and habit to wax verbose and excessively long, I thought to myself why not go for brief and concise and keep my remarks and comments limited and curt so as to, some would say, cut to the chase and eliminate the unnecessary from said remarks...

Here's bit of what I lost in my Cheney blog this morning. I posted it at the "Who the Hell Is Cheney" post here as well.
Cheney is an absolute genius.
Look, he was Sec of Defense after doging service in Vietnam. So!?!
He became VP after working for a defense contractor and initiated two wars while in office. So?!?
He knows there were WMD in Iraq and Saddam had ties to Osama bin Laden, which no once else can confirm. So?!?
He's got this own branch of government too! He's not part of the executive branch or the legislative branch. But maybe he's part of the judicial branch.
Yeah, that's it!!! Cheney is the Supreme Judge! His judgment overshadows everyone else on Earth. He just knows stuff and he doesn't have to prove it to anyone.
He knew Colin Powell left the party even before Colin Powell did. He knows what torture is and is not, despite what anyone else may have to say about it. He knows when your the Vice President you can hide from everyone, and when you're not, you can get on any talk show you want and say whatever you want without question anytime you want.

I have to admit to being thoroughly puzzled by what Cheney is up to. Of the various possibilities which might account for his conduct I'm left with no clear choice. The one thing that stands out though is what he is doing is out of character for him.

Is anyone else getting sick of Chris Matthews pronouncing "Cheney" Cheeny? He played a snip with Lynn saying that Cheeny is the correct pronunciation, but no one else, including the BIG DICK himself pronounces it that way. In fact, he played the dreaded Lynn Cheney, who referred to her creepy father as VP Cheney (as in Chaney) right after he made his amazingly small-minded point.
Chris does get off on unimportant tangents.
