"Hi-Caliber, Republican Rapper" Headlines CPAC... Seriously... I'm Not Joking... Really... No Sh*t...
Apparently, Michael Steele is like totally serious about changing the Republican party with that hip-hop, urban (nah!), suburban (yeah!) makeover thing.
First there is the whole switch to Ebonics. (I never knew Michelle "Michael Steele, YOU be da Man!" Bachman was such a quick study. Private tutoring, perhaps?)
Then there is the outreach with Steele making a cameo appearance at this year's Tyler Perry Presents "Scene of the Crime: Madea Goes Off At Tavis Smiley Presents The State of the Black Union," featuring "The Hardest Working Man in Radio, the Flyjock Tom Joyner," Don Cornelius and the Soul Train Dancers. (I can get away with this stuff, so I will.)
At the SOBU, not to be confused with FUBU ("for us, by us", the clothing line and not, well, the other "f-u" phrase), Steele treated his audience to popular phrases like "damn skippy!" (as in "I find Obama's policies damn skippy!").
And now we have this bloke, whigger rap sensation "Hi-Caliber", interviewed here by Max Blumenthal of the Daily Beast. Take a listen.
Hell, I'm quitting my day job.

Ha! I saw Michael Steele on that panel and thought,"what's he doing there?" Then I remembered he was Black and that he was going to take the GOP beyond the cutting edge into urban, suburban whatever...who cares. Did you hear him give his warning shot? Steele said he's coming to my neighborhood, my church and community center even if we don't want him there - time to put up those roadblocks. I didn't watch the video, I can't stomach it. The only white rapper I like is Eminem.

LMAO. This guy thinks Michael Savage "makes sense" - "10 minutes of listening to Michael Savage and my whole views of the world changed."
Holy shit.

Jade, good post. You sure are busy lately and I love your comments. I think two of them had me laughing so hard I had to come back and read them for content.

I was curious if he received permission for the songs that he samples. Somehow I doubt it.

So the Republicans got together and decided that they didnt need to change their ideas that ran the country into the ground all they needed to do was start trying to speak the language of the "young people". Iam seeing flashbacks of romeny trying that. If i recall it didnt go well.

It's all out there, and it's hard to top the reality and hilarity of it all. Truly stories that write themselves.
This is self-destruction in slow motion....

I see all of this stuff, and every time some new bold, fresh piece of idiocy comes along, I want to blog about it. But I can't stop laughing and shaking my head in disbelief long enough to get a blog together.
By the time I've finally calmed down, someone like Jade has done a great job of documenting the madness. So, I just rec the blogs and move on. :)
This stuff is so far beyond the pale that it simply beggars rational belief. Truly, y7a can't make this stuff up. The Not Ready For Prime Time Players bow to today's GOP as the true masters of improv comedy.
