Tom DeLay on "Hardball": Obama is "Socialist, Marxist, Radical"
I may have to just hug Debbie Wasserman-Schultz for defusing the hate-speech delivered by Tom DeLay just a few minutes ago on Hardball With Chris Matthews.
DeLay called Barack Obama a "Marxist" -- claiming he (DeLay) called him out on that a few months ago -- a "Socialist," hanging around with "anti-Americans" like Bill Ayers, a "radical" and more. I could not write fast enough to capture everything he said.
But Wasserman-Schultz, employing that wonderful phrase, "with all due respect," called out DeLay for his corruption and leaving the House of Representatives under a cloud, and his hate speech for exactly what it is.
With all due respect, Mr. DeLay, go "phuck yourselph."

The only thing that interview made me wonder was this: Who really cares what Bug Man DeLay thinks these days anyway? He's a pathetic, indeed outright pathological liar and deserves much more obscurity than he gets.

I really have to question Chris for having DeLay on for republican representation. Maybe he was hoping to get him to go too far as he did Michelle.

He was trying to push him in that direction, and asked him the same questions that he nailed Bachmann with. I have no idea why they let a pile of excrement like Delay get anywhere near a microphone.

Actually, Matthews stopped him from digging himself in deeper. Pity, he should have let him go all the way...

You would think the GOP would have gotten a clue by now...negativity's not working!
I understand Chris wants to give both sides a say on his show, but is this really legitimate? And if his intent was to make Delay look dumber than Bachmann, did he really think Delay would directly answer all of his questions?

Matthews did try to keep the bug terminator from hanging himself, but Delay didn't seem to care.
By the way, what's the story with Delay's criminal trial? Haven't heard anything for a while.
