This is the Canary in the republican Coal Mine gasping it's last breath. Today, Old-School NASCAR legend and Redneck Icon Junior Motherf*cking Johnson! made a very public endorsement of Barack Obama. This is some seriously deep dookey. When the neCons have screwed the pooch so thoroughly that North Carolina's Junior Johnson, the last of NASCAR'S founding families, endorses not only a Democratic presidential candidate, but an African- American Democratic Presidential Candidate, you know the Repubs are in deep, deep trouble. Not to minimize Gen. Powell's devestating announcement last week, this one says even more about the sad state of affairs W. and his acolytes have left our nation and their party. It ain't over till it's over, but JUNIOR JOHNSON?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, Let's Get Out The Vote!

The MSM has been pushing it's meme about how fired up the Publicans base are over Gov Hockeymom's selection and how "concerned" the Democrats are over this "game changer". I attended a Voter Registration training session at Obama HQ. in Pasadena, Ca. tonite with about 60 other volunteers. The group was fired up and ready to fight for our future! A local newspaper reporter showed up to do a story on the campaign and told one attendee that he'd just come from the local McCain office where he'd counted a total of 2 people in the place. 2 people. Even more impressive than the 60 plus attendees was the sign-up sheet on the wall for volunteers to travel to Las Vegas over the next few weekends to register voters. Well over 100 names were on the list! ( and this is just Pasadena /NE L.A.) Nevada is a crucial state, and California Dems are gonna do all we can to insure a victory there. What are YOU gonna do ? Turn off your TV. Try to limit your blogging to a healthy amount. Get your butt to the nearest battlground state and Fight for this thing! Nothing less than Our Future is at stake here, so hit the streets and help us win, or lose your right to bitch if McSame/Moosilinni manage to steal another one. Yes We Can Brothers and Sisters! I ask again; WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO?

Feeling frustrated about the "polls"? Quit ringing your hands and Volunteer for Obama. He needs people to help take back our country in 8-10 crucial battleground states. Go to mybarackobama.com and fight for our future! I worked for O in the Ca. primary and it restored my faith in democracy. Now I've signed up to go to Nevada in October and knock on doors of undecided voters. Nothing is more effective at persuading voters than a face to face talk with a fellow patriot.( Oh, and it's a blast! as well) If you can't travel then phonebank/fundraise/donate/call friends/family and urge them to get involved. Contrary to what the Mainstrean Media and the GOP would like you to think, Democracy is not a spectator Sport. Yes We Can! ( but only if we turn off the computer and lay down some shoe leather )

Calm the f*ck down people! Obama and his people are playin chess here, not checkers. They've gotta let the shine wear off of Sister Sarah a bit before they expose her lies and hypocrisy. When they do this bounce in the polls the Repubs are enjoying will fade fast and Obama will regain a slight lead in the polls. Every minute we spend fretting over Wolfmother we're playing into the neoCons hands. O knows this and is not gonna take the bait. His folks are no doubt digging up plenty on Hockey Mom#1 and when the time is right they'll provide the dirt to the MSM if they haven't stumbled onto it themselves. Remember, it's McCain we've got to defeat, not his Lipstick Fascist running mate. Very few people vote for a VP,and those who'd be swayed by this reckless pick would never vote for O anyway. Focus folks, double down on donations' canvassing, calling and the dreaded "organizing". Keep your eyes on the prize and your spirits up, we'll win this one. Trust Obama's game, he's playin Chess, not checkers. Yes We Can!

The GE is under way, and McCain has predictably fallen back on regurgitating neoCon "half-truths"and seems unable to go more than a few hours without contradicting things he himself said only weeks/days/hours before. I think it's time to re-name his lobbyist-driven "Straight Talk Express" to something more reflective of McCain's current incarnation. Please submit your own entries; here's my (un-pc) suggestion.(sorry ma,) "The Early Bird Special"

Just caught a K.O. clip w/Fineman where Howard stated quite plainly that Hillary's people are letting Obama know that if Hillary is not the V.P. choice they're not to offer it to another woman.Who does this woman think she is?. Suddenly she's not just the most successful female candidate in history, she's now the Only Woman Qualified for the job. Ladies, if this don't piss you off enough to shake your support of her I don't know what will.I realize Hill's a little sensitive about that whole "Other Woman"thing, but her personal feelings are no reason to disqualify any of several excellent female V.P. candidates. Sad thing is, I included Hillary on that "short list" of credible candidates until about 3 months ago......

In a startling revealation today it was reported that the Democrat's Presumptive Nominee, Sen Barack Obama is at least 1/2 white. Reliable sources confirm that Obama's mom was indeed white. He was brought up with help from his (white) grandparents and often attended school with (white) children. Obama attended an Ivy League school (white folks). In a conference call Clinton spokesperson Howard Whiteson insisted "Obama can no longer count on the Black Vote, The White Vote,The Guilty Liberal Vote, or the Always Wanted The Cool Black Friend Vote now that the truth about his whiteness has been revealed". It'll be interesting to see how Obama handles this potential "game changer".

If a Hillary presidency didn't mean Bill back in the Whitehouse his sexual conduct would be a non-issue (sorry),but the fact is they're a two-fer, so it's very much relevant. I couldn't care less about who sleeps with who, never have. That said, Bill Clinton's inability to tell the truth to the american public regarding his Lewinsky problem is an unforgivable blunder. It can be very credibly argued that his lack of courage/candor cost the Democrats not only control of congress, but also made the 2000 election close enough for the bushcrimefamily to steal. I seriously doubt that a President Gore would have ignored a Daily Briefing entitled Bin Laden Determined To Strike...Even if 9/11 had happened under Gore's watch, you can damn sure bet we wouldn't have invaded Iraq. 4,000+ dead U.S. soldiers,150,000+ dead Iraqis 200+Billion dollars. That's one hell of an expensive blowjob. I'm no fan of Hillary's, but there's no way I'd vote for her knowing Bill's part of the deal.

No matter how the media and Camp hillary spin it, she's been out of this since Wisconsin. It's not just opinion, it's the math. At times it's been fun pointing out hillary's lies and delusions, as well as those of her more rabid supporters, and I've joined in on more than a few occasions. Today, I'd like to suggest that we quit piling-on our long-defeated primary opponnent hillary, and instead focus on John McCain. The MSM will do everything they can to install McCain and continue Bush's disasterous but very profitable policies. Every day we spend defending Obama against hillary's long-over bid is a day lost in the very real battle ahead in November. I'm not suggesting B.O. supporters get complacent, please donate/volunteer and those who haven't yet voted bring friends/family to the polls with you. I am suggesting our time would be better spent researching/discussing McCain's weaknesses and B.O.'s strengths with moderates who are undecided and may be open to real change. Let's defeat McCain, hillary's not the enemy anymore.

Reliable sources within the Clinton campaign say Bill Richardson's endorsment of Barack Obama means little, as the New Mexico Democrat has never crossed the "Chicano-In Chief Threshold". The source went on to say that both Clinton and Republican John McCain have a "lifetime of experience" with chicanos while Richardson has "only his ethnic heritage."
