Now that the Democrats will have 60 Senators in the caucus,
what excuses will Harry Reid use for his failure to advance their agenda?
And have no doubt: he will fail, and he will make excuses.
You see, there is a reason, besides stupidity, for Harry's failure:
he doesn't want to succeed. He wants to obstruct the progressive agenda.
    Reid had a front row seat for the demise of Tom Daschle (another moron
of epic proportions). So he knows that the more he accomplishes as
Majority Leader, the harder it will be for him to win re-election.
As long as he continues to do nothing, his seat is pretty safe.
If he accomplishes something, Nevada Republicans will have an
easier time attacking him.
    Harry says, "You don't have to count the votes! I have to count
the votes." Well you have to do more than COUNT the votes.
You have to GO GET THEM! I don't remember Trent Lott (or Bill Frist)
EVER saying, "Well, we only have 54 sure votes, so we can't do anything".
But Reid says it over and over and over.
   How much longer will Senate Democrats tolerate this?
If I can see it from my living room, surely they see it right in front
of their face. Wake up, Democrats! Harry Reid is not your friend!
He is your enemy!
