New Reverend Wright vector?
As you are undoubtedly aware, Rick Davis has recently stated the McCain campaign is considering using Revered Wright as an attack point. I was uncertain how this might be tactically executed save something simplistic and straightforward, like "He was his preacher, and that is BAD..." type of stuff.
Wondering if this from the McCain campaign website might be their strategy:

"There
was a total lack of accountability" at Obama and Ayers' Chicago
Annenberg Challenge, former city school superintendent Paul Vallas has
told The Post. Indeed, "If you went back and asked, you'd be
hard-pressed to find out how the money was spent."
Well, maybe.

That is a load of crap. The Annenberg Foundation has posted the CAC records to the internet.

Don'tcha think the Annenberg Foundation, for whom the grant writers for the CAC had to jump through hoops to get the initial grant and subsequent grants would want to know how their money is spent? Don'tcha think that if whatever was proposed by the CAC contradicted the Chicago and/or Cook County School Board (and knowing hos political Chi-Town is) that somebody somewhere at sometime would have raised a stink?
I feel nothing but pity for the McCain campaign that this is all their "mavericky mavericks" can come up with. Meanwhile, Palin and the First Dude get deposed tomorrow by the Alaska independent counsel, NBC is running a devastating joint interview of "Don Quixote and Sanchorita Panza" (just look at his facial expressions when she is speaking -- shades of the debate, much?), her clothing expenses are an issue, Republicans all across the country are in trouble with no McCain coattails, she doesn't know (!) what the Vice President's real duties are, the economy continues to tank, and in Afghanistan the Taliban grows stronger, beheading people by the tens, twenties and thirties.
Now is not the time for McCain's "cow dung" as Ed Rendell called it the other day.
