You know what Tena, I've come to think of Karl Rove the same way I think about Mike Tyson. Let me explain: Even though Tyson has an impressive highlight reel of detaching peoples skulls from their respective spines - after Buster Douglas exposed him he started to get bullied by no-name journeymen. It made you think, was he ever truly the force of nature that everyone thought - or was it the perception of Tyson that did his opponents in before the actual fighter laid a hand on them? Same with Rove, he's perceived as some sort of evil genius, no one can deny the guys track record of sleaze that has won elections. But with all 2006 Democratic victories that spit in the face of his misguided predictions, and the way Obama has successfully counter-punched Rovian politics this election cycle - has the fear of his tactics defeated Democrats more than the actual man has? Sorry for the rant.
