HOLY MOLY--Photos of Obama in St. Louis
Just found some photos of Obama in St. Louis. Unbelievable. Who would have thought so many anti-American, terrorist-sympathizing, vote-stealing, baby-killing, communists could be living in one midwestern city?

God, this is a great country.

Obviously, they're not from the pro-America part of St. Louis.
Besides, St. Louis sounds kind of...I don't know...French, maybe?

Shopped. It's the same 4 people over and over. (Just kidding.)
Holy shit. That is simply amazing. I was in Springfield for the Biden rollout and that was so packed with shoulder-to-shoulder people I couldn't even see Obama. This is just unbelievable. That's gotta be over 100,000 people right there.

I know he will never come to Pensacola, (even though Sarah has..) I envy you all who are in true 'swing' places!!!
However, it does my heart good to see so many who will come out and be counted...as unAmerican!!

That's an awesome crowd. I'm pleased that the crowd appears majority-white; they're a credit to my race, a phrase that, I hope, dates me. The Republicans don't understand that sleazy racist campaigning probably turns more undecided white voters against them than it attracts. It doesn't matter to those who would never vote for a black man anyway, and for the rest of us the message received is that the Republicans will cynically stoop to poisoning America with racial mistrust and hatred in order to win. And that is dangerously anti-American.

Made my day. Good after all the video of the hatemongers outside of Palin rallies.

Astonishing!
I haven't seen crowds like that since the 1960s -- when people weren't so pseudo-sophisticated with cynicism as not to believe in anything.
Obama is the candidate I've been waiting for since my age was in single digits.

Apparently, he didn't do nearly as well in Kansas City, MO later in the day...
Reports were that only about 75,000 showed up.
"Only". Ha!
That's like saying the Obama campaign "only" broke the fundraising record for September.

Amazing, and they did not have to pay them to show up either. And the Seattle Times reported he had another 75,000 at the rally later in the day in Kansas City.
How does he do it? He never appears tired at all. What's the secret?

John McCain's anger give him strength. He has enough energy stored up now carry him through his second term and power several small cities to boot.

This moment feels like the end of WW2 and the outcome of the civil rights movement combined! I love this man so much! I KNOW that there are going to be tough times ahead, I KNOW we are not going to agree with everything the new administration does (ESPECIALLY IF WE ELECT THE WRONG ONE BECAUSE OF OUR COMPLACENCY).
But just knowing that we have a common cause is so effing uplifting.
Don't act out, dems! Act UP

There's a remarkable resonance in these pictures. In many of them, the background is the Old Courthouse; it was in this building that the original Dred Scott decision was handed down, which stated that black people had no rights which white people were bound to respect.
It's taken 150 years to get to this point.
Peace,
Paul
