The Myth of Obama as the Anti-War Candidate
Stephen Colbert reminded me during last night's show (Nov. 18), that Barack Obama has been referred to numerous times in the mainstream broadcast realm as an anti-war candidate.
This is erroneous and I seem to recall Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul having run as the real anti-war candidates during the primaries.
Is this narrative becoming more widespread? And is it appearing in the European press as well?
