Blood in the water. Let the Big Dog finish them off.

"There are many ways to lose a presidential election. John McCain is losing in a way that threatens to take the entire Republican Party down with him."

President  Bill Clinton.

Yep, yep, you betcha/wink.

Time to get the American people to get out and vote to seal the deal to crush the gop.

President Clinton IMHO got a bum wrap during the primaries. It was after all his wife running for the nomination . That said ever since the convention in Denver President Clinton has been on board - he was drawing huge crowds here in Texas -he also campaigned for Noriega/who could very well defeat Cornyn . We will surprise some folks here next Tuesday week in the Lone Star State - We already seeing record breaking numbers voting -mostly African American, Hispanic, and young first time voters. The primary turn outs proved this -and the early voting trends are on track too.
Yeah we are fixin' to open a king size can of whoopass on the GOP nationally -and the Big Dawg is doing his part !

I don't get it. They wrapped Bill's bum? In Saran wrap or something?

Let's hear the Big Dog bark. BARK! BARK BARK!

Give 'em hell, Bill!

Ambassador to the UN might be a good spot for the Big Dog.

BRILLIANT!

Thank you for thinking of this, and for sharing that with us! That's a very exciting notion, because it's so suitable in many ways.

I cannot summon all of the ways at once, but what immediately struck me is the U.N. response to the sexual scandal. That jury was his peers, and the political community, internationally, regarded it as more of a misdemeanor than a capital crime, as I recall.

No its impossible. The ambassador to the UN is not an independent position its spokesperson for the president. Ex-presidents, in the modern era at least, do not become underlings not even for other presidents. This has nothing to do with Obama and Clinton. Clinton would not have offered the ambassadorship to Carter nor would Carter have accepted even with Carter's well deserved reputation as a skilled negotiator.

Something like Secretary General of the UN might apply except that would go against the accepted norm that the SG not be from a nation that is one of the permanent members of the security council.

No harm in making a public nomination. Then Clinton could take 45 to 90 minutes saying "Yeah!" or "Nay!" and either way the Republicans' heads would be exploding all over the country. Messy, but progress.

They issued a diplomatic "YAWN!" only because diplomacy required they issue a diplomatic comment.

On the way over to the Reno rally on Sat. we heard a repeat of Pres. Clinton's address in Reno a few days earlier. I had not seen or heard any of the press regarding that address.

I have never been a fan of Pres. Clinton, in fact quite the contrary. But I've got to tell you, after hearing that address, he's turned me into an admirer.

A lot has been made of his lukewarm endorsement of Obama, and I've been a little pissy about that. But I've got to tell you, that address was great. Either his regard for Obama has grown tremendously, or he's gotten some bad press about his lack of support.

He went on a bit about how much he respects John McCain. But then he went point by point itemizing the reason why he supports Obama. It was an eloquent endorsement, full of substantive reasons for voting him. He praised his intellect, his decision-making process, his thirst for the information necessary to understand complex issues, his ability to bring people together, his desire to elevate our standing in the world. The speech did not get rave reviews, but I thought it was excellent. It was well worth the listen. I have tried to find a clip, but so far no luck!

Thank you! I ended up finding a youtube version that I was about to post, but yours is much better quality!

I didn't think much of Clinton -- am fed up with the nonsense that a Democrat can't get elected president unless from the South. But when the dust stirred up by the impeachment lynch mob cleared and he was still standing, I was impressed.

Since then I've come to appreciate his warmth, his energy and vitality, and his brilliance as a politician. And his speech at the convention was terrific!

Wasn't gotalife the one who most vocally in the primaries was screaming that there was NO WAY Obama could win?

Maybe we can use this post to go back through some of gotalife's "greatest primary hit(job)s" on Obama?

How's the Kool-Aid taste, gotalife?

Wow, way to be gracious and welcoming.
