We need to protect John Mccain

I'm having bad flashbacks these last few days.

The images of my ailing father consistently putting off major decisions that had to be made ,because they were hard. These memories keep popping into my head during the daily influx of needless drama in this very important election season.

My father's passive aggresive way of thwarting those who were trying to help, was constantly saying," I need to think about this and not make any rash decisions".The sad reality was that thinking about many of the decisions wasn't going to change any of the outcome and in many cases exacerbated the problems. My sister and I  watched helplessly as my parents fell prey to more and more charlatans and gimmics designed to manipulte the elderly. All the while getting last minute frantic phone calls to clean up situationns we had been warning them about.

Watching John McCain lurch his way through this economic crisis is becoming painful to witness. I am reminded of the pressures I saw placed upon my parents and the ways in which they responded to them.

Granted , the phony ploys used by magazine companies and the franklin mint, hardly equate to the current pressures McCain must be facing.Take a way eight or nine zeros and shrink the universe and it's a similar situation.

The sad fact remains , he is a" garbage in garbage out" decision maker. This means the last one to make the argument usually wins without prudent judgement being exercised. Just tell him what he already thinks and be the last one to say it. As long as he doesn't have to change any of his already stubborn foolish beliefs and no one is gonna make him do anything, that's the judgement that suits him best.

Poor John Mccain is being manipulated. I think we need to protect the elderly from predatory people who only have there own self interests at play. I don't think anyone deserves to always be told what they want to hear. Unfortunately, that is what is happening in this case. First to John Mccain and then to the manipulative american electorate.

It's time we had a leader who didn't tell us what we wanted to hear, but told us what needed to be said.Until John McCain can be protected from those who are handling his affairs, he is not that leader.

What I Learned Last Week

What I've learned in the last week.

McCain is a garbage in garbage out leader. Meaning whoever is the last guy to tell him something he'll think it's true and act on it without forming his own opinion.Bad judgement.

Bush was this same type of leader. Wanted to be in charge and make the decisions but didn't know really how to diseminate the information so ultimately was manipulted. Also didn't like to be told he was wrong, because he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed . I've known those types in my life.

Now Palin will be ready. She's not yet. they have to fill her with all the empty rhetoric first. She's not capable of having her own opinions yet, they have to give her them.Perfect, another empty suit on a hanger.

Obama. He gets his advisors in room. (Republican and democrat).Listens to thier positions , then comes out with his balanced judgement. He's getting heat from the McCain camp that he hasn't been quick enough with his plan. Although we see how well that worked with all the differing positions they've had to take last week.

One man is being told what to say.

The other man is saying what he thinks needs to be told.

Who would you rather have for a leader?
