		        <![CDATA[<p>A - remember, he's not a Democrat anymore, he chooses to caucus with the Democrats (mostly to keep his privileges).</p>

<p>B - The word 'self-serving' could have been created specifically for Lieberman. I have a professor who knew him in college and told me that he was exactly the same back then. He would do or say anything in order to promote himself. I'm sure that he was hoping to become either Vice President or Secretary of State, and now that he sees it's not going to happen, he's mending fences. The thing is that all his peers already know this. Remember, Lieberman was the first Democrat to publicly excoriate Bill Clinton back in the 1990's, and I think that's the reason Gore picked him, which means that Lieberman is hugely responsible for the Bush presidency. Thank God that he most probably won't be responsible for continuing it with McCain.</p>]]>
