Why would Blago need a pardon? He's been convicted of nothing. He's being scapegoated for opening a window onto the sordid Chicago politics from which the president elect sprung. But it won't work.
What is becoming known about Obama's past relations will have a continuing paralyzing effect on Obama's administration. Just like Nixon's after the watergate exposure. Obama's fellow dems will be forced to begin distancing themselves for their own survival. The farsighted see this as the beginning of the end.
