>>And certainly, if LBJ were president right now, there's little doubt that you would still embrace the role of the pathological malcontent >>

You've nailed it! The only politician about which people like Bluebell have anything remotely positive to say are the dead ones and those who don't/can't get elected!

Bluebell has NEVER mentioned any of the campaign promises Obama has kept. She harps on things he has not done, amps up the negatives and trashes him relentlessly. Of course, if he had lost, she would be championing him as the only decent politician on earth.

The president is not perfect; he's made mistakes and I've been disappointed in some things from the administration. But when Bluebell ONLY focuses on what he's done wrong, I know she's full of shit.

The pathological malcontents on the left are no different from Hannity and Limbaugh--their objective is to find SOMETHING wrong with EVERYTHING Obama does. And they have about as much credibility as the "party of no." Total losers.

>>Obama is showing the weakness of his political personality. >>

That's where you're wrong. He's actually showing the strength of his political personality by not making prosecutions a priority. People need jobs, food and healthcare and prosecuting Bush cronies don't do a thing to address that.

Iran/Contra did not come define the Reagan adminstration. Reaganomics and "tear down this wall" did. In fact, even post-Iran/Contra, Democrats could not regain the White House. It's what you do for people that impact their daily lives that endures, not how many scalps you collect for your prosecution wall.

Maybe I'm crass and craven but I'd rather have healthcare and education reform and a stable economy than Bush prosecutions that one land a single person in jail. In the end, any prosecutions will be a lot of bluster.

I'm waiting to see folks like Christopher Hitchens (and many posters here) say they were wrong about what a disaster Hillary would be as SOS because she would spend every day plotting against Obama and trying to make him look bad. I don't expect that will happen, though, since Hitchens is still saying invading Iraq was the right thing to do. pompus windbag.

>>Obama's real failure is his inability to connect with the concerns of Americans about their economic future. >>

Yeah, right. That's why an overwhelming majority of the population says they trust Obama on economic issues and support his policies. (recent polls.)

I wish folks like you would stop trying to tell us how upset we are at the president because he has failed and betrayed us. Of course you're not happy, which proves that the universe is following its normal course.
