I've seen one thread about TPM's acceptance of advertising in support of Prop. 8 (the amendment, which passed, to take away the right for gay people to marry in California, which they had recently won in the state Supreme Court). Acceptance of that advertising is bad enough and Josh should be ashamed of himself for doing so. But where is any coverage of the actual issue as news? This is a big deal, the taking away of human rights written into the state constitution. There have been protests all week, Schwarzenegger has discussed it on CNN, and I have not seen any coverage of it at TPM. Can you either point me to that coverage (if I've missed it) or explain yourself? The lack of visibility about it on this site says way more than your acceptance of advertisements in support of it.
