<p>Republicans want everyone to behave.  But, they can't do that.</p>

<p>Democrats want everyone to be happy.  But, they can't do that.</p>

<p>Both parties are striving for the impossible, so in the end, it doesn't really matter if you are a Dem or a Repub.  What's important is to<b> listen.</b></p>]]>

		        <![CDATA[<p>What we expected is a far cry from what we got, although it's not a total wipeout. We've used up a quarter of our time getting used to each other. But, the honeymoon is over now and we know where the work needs to start.  </p>

<p>I'm glad your loved ones are stateside with their families.  One of mine is in Kuwait, one in Japan, but the rest are here for which I am very grateful.</p>

		        <![CDATA[<p>The distant heritage is what concerns me, Ramona.  Maybe it's too distant to retrieve.  We need a shake up, that's for sure.  </p>

<p>You know, I had sort of thought the shake up would come when a person of color was elected to the highest office.  I thought it would bring a new perspective, that we would stop being focused on who wanted to harm us and instead turn the focus on how we were damaging our humanity by our aggressions.  How we were hurting us by the dereliction of duty to ourselves.</p>

<p>But, that didn't happen.  Nothing has changed in D. C.   At this point, I'm all for bricking the whole place off and moving the nation's capitol to........hmmm.  Well, we have lots of room in Michigan now....and we could use the jobs.   How does Senator Ramona sound? ;o)</p>]]>

<p>Americans have A.D.D., I think.  As soon as the shiny part gets a little bit dull they're off to find a new distraction.  I mean, the campaigns of 2008 were fun!  It was a party!  It was like Chinese fireworks!  Then they were over and it was back to the dull grind of governing and few were interested.  I don't know how to change that attitude.  I'm lost.</p>]]>

<p>But, I have to think about the seventh generation out from this one.  After I die, life goes on, and my descendants deserve a fair existence.  If they don't have that, well, then, maybe it's time for the Injuns to invade Europe, where I understand life is pretty swell. ;o)</p>]]>

<p>Introspection was what all that was <i>after</i> "it's all about the money".  I was questioning why we let this happen because quite frankly, I don't understand why we did, why we let important issues fall to the side instead of taking care of them as a matter of course, why we let ourselves be bossed.</p>

<p>I do not have a problem being part of the pitchfork populism faction.  No problem at all.  Because I <i>am</i> part of the population and I haz me a pitchfork, so I reckon the label fits.....if putting me into a category is necessary in order for you deal with folks like me.</p>]]>
