"We're all of one race, the human race."

Willie LeClair, on his trip to the Vatican:

"All I wanted to do was show that we as Eastern Shoshone people are no different than anyone else," he said. "Our spirituality runs exactly the same way, and to let them know we are all of one world. We're all of one race, the human race."
A little something different for the weekend from the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Thanks - a simple reminder is a good idea now and then.

Fer shure, OG. When the world gets noisy and confusing and no one can tell who the players are, even with a program, sometimes a simple reminder of what we are is needed.

"You're the shaman," said a festival greeter upon his arrival in Rome.

"No, I'm Willie LeClair," he said.

Profound.

Hey Flower:

When in Rome do as the Shoshone do.

Wind River reservation is close to where I was raised, proud to see this coming from there.
