Holder in Germany: Obama Admin to Cooperate with any "requests from an appropriately created court" Investigation into Torture. Sexual Abuse Alleged. Please rec'd!!!

From the Guardian:

"A court in Spain has today opened an investigation into torture allegations against US military personnel at the Guantánamo detention centre.

Judge Baltasar Garzón, an investigating magistrate at the National Court in Madrid, said he would investigate allegations made by four detainees who were held at the centre and later released without charges, according to a court document quoted by the Spanish press.

The torture allegations include "sexual abuse", "beating" and the throwing of fluids into prisoners' eyes.

A recent decision by the Obama administration to release documents about Guantánamo helped the judge conclude that a police investigation, which could lead to criminal charges, was necessary.

"This is an administration that is determined to conduct itself by the rule of law and to the extent that we receive lawful requests from an appropriately created court, we would obviously respond to it," he said."

"I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this message because I will restore Honesty to the White House."

The truth isn't weak or wimpy:

McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said this to the Politico about the increased media scrutiny of the campaign's factual claims: "We're running a campaign to win. And we're not too concerned about what the media filter tries to say about it."

[Insert hard-hitting ad including above quote and revealing McCain for the liar he is, and link him to the Bush's lies regarding how he took this country to war with Iraq.]

Then,

"I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this message because I will restore Honesty to the White House."

WANTED: a discontented Republican ad-maker to work for Obama

Has anyone else noticed that democrats produce successful hard-hitting ads against other dems during the primary season, yet once the general election begins, they cower to the Republican smear machine and rationalize it by saying they want a "high-minded" discussion of the issues? Obama is making the same mistake all losing democratic presidential candidates made, but I have news: Hard-hitting ads CAN be made within the framework of integrity; the two are NOT mutually exclusive!   McSame is still desperate because only desperate campaigns lie as shamelessly as he is. McSame is purposely polarizing the electorate along cultural lines to distract the people from the fact that his policies are a continuation of Bush's. Obama needs to change the dialogue drastically and NOW. Focus ads on the economy.   Here's an idea for an ad, and I'd love to hear more:   (black screen w/ loud noise [like a steel door's slam] to grab attn. Left side of screen: run clip of McCain saying he doesn't know much about the economy. (run Right side of screen after Left) Right side of screen: McCain saying he will continue w/ Bush's economic policy. Black screen w/ same noise as above then, Barack Obama talking to camera: "I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message because middle class tax cuts is REAL change."   Let's get lots of ideas going and (somehow!) get them to the Obama campaign. New ad ideas have to get to the campaign SOON! Emails won't do it...there's got to be another way to get through & let them know that telling the truth ISN'T WIMPY!!!   If the electorate allows themselves to be fooled again, just think of how much the middle class will shrink by 2012. Democrats cannot afford to learn this lesson from defeat because this country cannot afford four more years of the same!!!
