Ethan Porter is the Associate Editor of Democracy: A Journal of Ideas. He has written for The New York Daily News, The Nation, Politico, The New Republic Online, The New York Observer and Dissent, among other publications. He's served as the National Communications Director of the College Democrats of America. Porter graduated from Bard College with a B.A. in Literature and Political Studies. At Bard, he edited the campus newspaper and the international affairs journal, and won the Political Studies Prize as well as the school's Democracy Award.
