Stop It! Stop It! Stop It! Stop It!
How can we influence the media to stop destructively over "reporting", misconstruing and otherwise boring us to tears about the Obama team's involvement in the Blago affair? Investigate Blago - fine - but stop trying to create a story and an ominous link when there is none. Maybe we should turn off any so called news outlet when they report anything but the facts in this matter. That includes Politico. com which seems to have made a hobby of this story. They actually have it as their top of the page lead right now. Absolutely outrageous! Enough!!!

How often does a prosecutor, a Federal prosecutor get on national television before the national press and point their finger at one guy and say:
This guy did not do it. This guy did nothing wrong.
What a waste of time for national journalists.

A combination of Chris's and Fat Lady's suggestions sounds sounds about right: don't visit the sites that offend and emulate Obama's zen state.

Media sensationalism is not likely to go away soon.
But looking at Politico as a barometer of the media strikes me as about as useful as using a compass near the north magnetic pole. And calling for suppression of the chaos of what is the political equivalent to Brownian motion under a microscope is simply a call for stasis.
